10 Best P90X Exercises for Running

I was getting ready when I stopped looking at the P90X commercial for the thousandth time many years ago. Every time I watched the commercial, I said to myself, there is no way I can do that. But the time was different. I had a burning desire to qualify for the legendary marathon.

From my age, the new time is simply 3:15, which is at a pace of 7:26. Each of my marathons was 5 plus hours before the finish line. I usually crash around the 16,000 mark.

I feel like lose more weight, and P90X seemed like the right exercise and nutrition plan to get me there. P90X has over 250 different exercises. The exercises that are here, I believe, are the 10 best P90X exercises that will help you run faster.

Run back from Chest & The back is large to keep the upper body erect, which is especially important in space running. After so many miles you are tired and start to let your shoulders down and over the hump. This condition makes it harder to breathe, and without enough air you will start to feel more tired.

Knee tuck jumps from plyometrics provide the extra boost that runners need to get down the course. This exercise increases the endurance of your legs. Basically your jumping up and down with both legs as high as possible.

Maria Katherine Lunge of Plyometrics is another great exercise. They’ll love your quad and give you some ankle support so you can switch legs in mid-air and on the ground. This is a modification of the ultimate lunge delivery.

Run Squat 180 Jump Jump from Plyometrics Get your lungs screaming as you increase your VO2max with this exercise. Begin the running stage with the hand touching the ground near the front. Then you will jump and switch legs and touch the ground again with the other hand, changing this way and that.

A leg warm-up from plyometrics strengthens the knee and ankle as you jump on one foot from side to side. Your calves will get a great workout.

Rana from Yoga X stretches the inner thighs and hips toward the ground. When the hips and knees are positioned at 90 degrees.

So far, I’ve gone from an easy 12 minute mile to under 10 minutes at the New Jersey Half Marathon. . My next marathon is the Steamtown Marathon in Scranton. PA. I’m looking forward to the 4:30 time. Not ready for Boston yet, but I’ll be there soon!
