10 Cruelty-Free Cosmetic Brands

I am a strong believer in the cruelty of children, whatever it is. I can almost understand animal testing for medicinal purposes, but other than that I just can’t condone not knowing how to use a product that tests on animals. When it comes to drones, animal testing is completely unacceptable to me. No animal should suffer for the vanity of men. Finding brands that can’t be tested on animals is a bit difficult and takes a lot of research. So I followed a list of ten brands of cruelty-free cosmetics, five brands of drug and five high end brands. .

I need medicine

What’s great about apothecary toaster cosmetics is that they are affordable. There is some kind of torture, to decorate the rutum nibh pain. The downside is that many times the quality and packaging is not as good as the high end stuff. You will have a face that breaks easily, and eye shadows that tend to grow and fail very quickly. The other thing that washes out about drug pigments is that it is often difficult to discern what is cruelty free and what is not without doing some research. Luckily, I did the research for you, and the following are five well-known (in no particular order) cruelty-free makeup products, and the reasons why I love them.

Almay

I have been a fan of Almay products for a long time. I think Almay is one of the better quality products offered at drugstores. Prices ranged from $5 to $20. From my experience Almay is a great brand for those with allergies and sensitive skin. I have both. Their makeup remover is also rated by a number of beauty magazines. Almay now offers an organic line as well.

NYX

This brand is named after the Greek goddess of the night. NYX is a brand that is fairly new to me and although it’s not actually in the drugstore, or even Wal-Mart or Target, the prices are in the drugstore range. NYX offers everything from lipstick to primers. What NYX is best known for are their jumbo eyeliner pencils and their lipsticks. Their jumbo eyeshadow brushes can be used as a base or worn alone. Their lipsticks are very moisturizing and long lasting.

E.L.F.

E.L.F. Or Lips Eye Face is a fairly new brand. Another feature is that it is not available everywhere or at all. You will find the best E.L.F. Check their website for products, but if you want the whole selection, it is best to order off their website. E.L.F. It is undoubtedly known for its one dollar products. One dollar! E.L.F. it has three makeup lines, their regular where all the products are like dolls, their mineral line and their studio line. Their Mineral and Studio line are more expensive, but still very affordable, much more so than the average drug brands.

Hard candy

Hard candy is a new brand for me. I’ve heard it before, but I vaguely remember it from when I was in high school. Hard Candy is a sister brand to Urban Decay and carries the same flair in its packaging. It is also very similar to Urban Decay, at least from what I have said and read. Hard Candy products are available in Wal-Mart stores, and will soon be available in Target stores and Sephora. The price is very affordable ranging from $5 to $10.

physicorum Formula

The last, but certainly not least, brand drugb on my list is Physicians Formula. Medicinal Formula is another brand that I am a big fan of. I love them even more now that they have an organic line. I like this thread because they seem to be the author of the recipe I come with the airline. Their product is very different from other known drugs, and it is really good for those with sensitive skin and allergies. The price is pretty standard for drugstore toasters, ranging from $5 to $15. A big reason why I like Medici Formula products is because the quality tends to be really good, and the packaging is strong.

Have an end

Most people tend to think that high-end products are of better quality because they cost more, and this is often true, but not always. It’s one thing to have quality products, it’s another thing to find quality products that are also cruelty free. For the same reasons as hammer brands, it’s not always easy to find cruelty-free paints without doing some research. Not all children are marked by signs of cruelty. Again, there are just five brands that I love.

Urban Decay

I never heard of Urban Decay until a few years ago. It’s still quite a new brand, but it’s already developed a loyal following because of its very arty packaging, and the superb quality of its products. A few of the popular products are Primer Potion, Eyeshadow and Eye Shadow Book. The prices of Urban Decay are quite high, but not more than other high end brands. In fact, I think it is more expensive than many of the biggest high-end cosmetic brands. Prices ranged from $9 to $40.

Smashbox

Smashbox is another great makeup brand that makes some really great products. The packaging is quite simple, which is very nice because the products speak for themselves. Prices for Smashbox products are significantly higher than Urban Decay, ranging from $15 to around $50. Like I said, the quality is great, but I can’t say it’s better than Urban Decay. My favorite Smashbox products are their mascaras and lipglosses.

Bobbi Brown

I have heard many positive things about Bobbi Brown products, however, I have never used this brand myself so I cannot comment on the quality. I would say that Bobbi Brown is a quality brand, and they offer a huge selection of pigments to choose from. An expensive brand though, even more so than Smashbox. Prices range from $20 all the way up to about $70.

Too Faced Cosmetics

Another brand that I love is Too Faced Cosmetics. There are other brands that stick with the pack. Their package is simple, but feminine, and instantly recognizable by anyone familiar with makeup. Too Faced carries everything, but some of the most popular are their Diamond lipglosses, liquid foundation and the Insurance eyeshadow shade from the primer. The prices of Too Faced products are almost the same as Urban Decay, quite affordable for the quality.

M.A.C

The last brand on my top end list is another one that I would use M.A.C. Who hasn’t heard of M.A.C.? It is probably one of the most popular cosmetic brands out there. M.A.C I buy a wide variety of products from what is arguably their best known, their makeup brushes. Outside of their brushes, M.A.C is known for quality, and some of their most popular products are paint pots and loose pigments. I would say their prices are pretty standard for the quality. M.A.C Price products are about the same as Urban Decay products.

These ten brands aren’t the only cruelty-free cosmetic brands out there. These just happen to be some of my favorite, and very popular brands. I just want to make it clear that a brand being cruelty-free does not mean that its company is. The ten brands I mentioned are brand cruelty free, whether or not their company has another story. If you’d like to find out about other cruelty-free brands and whether their company is doing well, check out www.leapingbunny.org and www.vegfamily.com/lists/cruelty-free-companies.
