First lets look at some background information about Eminem. Marshall Bruce Mathers III was born on October 17, 1972 in St. Joseph, MO. Eminem is currently in Detroit, Michigan. His stage names are Eminem (EMINƎM) and Slim Shady. He is one of the most successful Hip-Hop artists of all time. Dr. Dre led the way and is credited with much of Eminem’s success. Eminem is signed under Aftermath and has his own label called Shady Records. Eminem and Dre are credited with the rebellion and success of 50 Cent and G-Unit.

Now on to the list of 10 songs by Eminem. These songs aren’t what I think are the best, I don’t pick favorites. Showing only 10 of my favorite songs by Eminem. I’ve heard almost every single song Em has released and it’s hard to narrow it down to just 10 songs.

1. miles – from the fourth studio album by Eminem titled The Eminem Show, which was released in 2002. Solid is one of my favorite songs by Eminem The beat is amazing, the story world and the flow is awesome. One of my favorite parts of this song is the first part of verse 3: “I’m spittin’ lazy so these kids know I’m talkin’ to em / Give back to these damn critics and sock to em / I”m like a Thug with a little Pac influence / I spewed out and see how I took you dog rock’ to it / You motherfuckers could never do it like I could do it, / Don’t even try it, you’re a fool, don’t pursue it, don’t ever in your life, try to overthrow the truth.”

2. Until I Collapse – also from the 2002 album The Eminem Show. Nate Dogg in the dance. This song has one of my favorite beats of any Eminem song. Plus, Nate Dogg’s hook is great. The whole message Em puts in this song is awesome and the word play he uses is dope. I can’t pick one part of the song, both lines are awesome. This song got a big boost in 2009/2010 when it was released in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and brought many new listeners to it.

3. Sing the Moment – again from the 2002 album The Eminem Show. This song was also featured on Eminem’s greatest hits album Curtain Call: Hits in 2005. Eminem sampled the song “Dream Day” by Aerosmith. Joe Perry plays the guitar solo solo at the end of the song and Steven Tyler sings the chorus. Sing for the Moment talks about the idea of rap music’s effect on society and the misconceptions Eminem says critics and parents have about him and his songs . He explains how music has a positive message in people, but it can be taken the wrong way. He claims that music is a relief and an escape from boredom and sickness, which I agree with, although there is a bad thing about all music, especially when it is misunderstood. Eminem also discusses his feud with a runner named John Guerrera. Just a really good song from every verse to the chorus. The video music for this song can be viewed here.

4. The Way I Am – from the album Marshall Mathers LP released in 2000. This is one of the most popular songs that Eminent has released to date. On the Way I Am was a much more emotional sound than the albums first single “The Real Slim Shady” The Way I Am was named the 35th Best Song of the Decade by Complex Magazine. This song was remixed by Danny Lohner ft Marilyn Manson and they performed the song on stage with Eminem. Marilyn Manson is also in the music video, which can be seen here. The music video was named the 19th Best Music Video of the 2000s by Complex Magazine. The chorus of this song is inspired by Eric B. and Rakim’s song “Like a Rhyme” >”I’m The R, the A, to the K-I-M/ If I wasn’t, why would I say I was?

5. Stan – as the song above, also from the album Marshall Mathers LP in 2000. This song is also on Sella Call : The Hits in 2005. This single praise stands out from the top of the poem. This makes every top Eminem song on the album. This song started things in Hip-Hop and culture overall where rappers and other people refer to it as Stan’s. For example, Nas uses the name in a famous diss song against Jay-Z titled Ether: “You fan, phony, fake, pussy, Stan.” Stan is a fan who is obsessed and it takes a long time, even a “dick lifter”. There are 2 versions of this song, one with a slightly changed version of Dido’s “Thank You” and the other with Elton John. Rolling Stone magazine “Stan” #290 on the list of the 100 greatest songs of all time. VH1 also lists the VH1 of all time. Stan tells a story about an obsessed Eminem fan who writes letters, getting no answers. The first 3 verses are sung by Eminem as the character Stan. The fourth is Eminen Stan writing back after many letters and contact attempts. In the fourth verse, Eminem remarks that he has already heard about Stan’s death on the news. The Dogs also wrote a song called “U Didn’t Care” in which the Dogs painted Stan and said that Eminem didn’t care about him at all. This is one of the songs that fueled the beef between Eminem and the Dogs.

6. Say What You Say – from the album The Eminem Show and featuring Dr. Dre. This song is a diss towards Jermaine Dupri and slightly to Dogs. Dre and Timbaland don’t get along with JD, and Dre disses JD through the song. Eminem takes shots at JD and the Dogs when he says: “The second verse makes it worse / It doesn’t get any better than this / Drink the old dirty amateurs / A Dixie cup if you ever mix me up / Or confuse me with the Dogs. Or Dre with Dupri / You’ll rub in, all your club in / We’ll have you blackballed and make sure you never rap again a href=”https://e-info.vn/tag/method-man”>how does Method Man and Redman come together in songs like Em and Dre do in this song 7. Like Toy Soldiers – from the 2004 album Encore. This song is a sample from “Toy Soldiers”. He talks about his issues with The Source Magazine and talks about the beef between Ja Rule and 50 Cent. He says Ja and 50’s beef is beyond Jay-Z and Nas’s dues, which is one of Hip-Hop’s most famous beefs. Eminem is trying to offer his hat to his enemies, because he knows how much bad and harmful beef has been caught in Hip-Hop. Eminem talks about his feud with Ja Rule, which started because of what Ja said about Eminem’s daughter Hailie. In the song titled “Solve Muta” Ja says how Em’s wife is known as a whore, her mother is known as a crackhead, and then says what will happen when Hailie grows up. I myself would do something similar to what Eminem would have done in that type of situation if someone in my family ever talked like that. The music video for this song is in which he proves himself in a car crash. This was to show what could be done if the beef continued. Some people find it ironic that Probo was shot and killed in April 2006. 50 Cent, Obie Trice, and D12 make cameo appearances in the film. Deceased rappers such as 2Pac, Biggie, Big L, and former D12 member Bugz are featured in the video. Eminem drops the word in this song, as he has done in other songs, when he talks about Dr Dre’s beef with Suge Knight< /a>. The rhyming word with ‘good’ is so much to believe Suge.

8. Lose Yourself – from 8 Mile Soundtrack and later released on Curtain Call: Hits. The song’s lyrics convey the background info about Eminem’s character in 8 Mile, B. Rabbit, with the first line being a lot of the plot of the movie. This song was written by Em during a break in the movie 8 Mile. He gets the second order in a portable studio set. The very sheet on which he wrote the song appears in the bus scene in the movie 8 Mile. Linteamen sold for $10,000 on eBay. This song is very important in Hip-Hop culture and is one of Eminem’s most successful songs. There are many references in pop culture to this song.

9. Pretty – from the album Relapse released in 2006. The response to this song has been great. Rolling Stone called it “a touching attempt at inspired ballads.” This song samples “Extends” originally written by Rock Therapy. This version was taken from the Queen + Paul Rodgers 2005-2006 Tour. The Relapse album was in many eyes not one of Emin’s best, Beautiful was one of the better songs on the album and I wish the album had been more along those lines. The music video for this song was directed by Anthony Mandler and filmed in Detroit. The meaning of this poem speaks for itself.

10. Renegade (Original – featuring the original version of Detroit rapper and friend Royce Da 5’9″ (Meets Evil) There are 2 versions of this song, the second note is more professional sounding and Jay-Z instead of Royce, and Eminem’s verses remain the same throughout both. And Eminem killed you in your dick-riding. “Eminem’s 2 verses on Renegade are the best of his life.” how his society talks about his songs and content. In the second verse he discusses how religion sees him playing with words. These verses show Eminem writing skill and why it is considered one of the most important.

So many other songs could have made this list, but I believe these are the 10 best Eminem songs and every fan should hear them at least once. Thanks for reading!
