Most video gamers my age either had or played friends NES, SNES, Genesis, PlayStation, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Wii, Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3. But another good console of the past that he did not have. There were just as many gamers on the Neo Geo. The Neo Geo wasn’t as popular as other consoles at the time, but there were some good racing games that came out of the Neo Geo.
10) Neo Bomberman
The Bomberman series is probably best known for Nintendo but the series has been made on many platforms. There were two Bomberman games on the Neo Geo, Neo Bomberman and Panic Bomber. Both were enjoyable puzzle games but I preferred the Neo Bomberman version because Bomberman retained the traditional top-down gameplay.

SNK vs. Capcom doesn’t excite as many players as Marvel vs Capcom but games are still a lot of fun. . SNK developed characters from The King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, Martial Arts and Samurai Showdown while on the Capcom side the characters were mostly from Street Fighter.

Crossing the Sword is an action RPG with a fantasy setting. Swords passed was a good combination of action and RPG and allowed players to use the RPG genre without the difficulty of most RPG games.
6) Offended Knights
Knight Riders is a stick em up arcade game with a war setting. The characters walked on foot and had a gun as well as the ability to throw a cannon. Shock Knights is a similar game like Commando on nit, but it has better graphics since it is later than the NES.
5) Garou: Mark of the Wolves
Garou: Mark of the Wolves was the ninth and final game in the Deadly Fury series. Marcus of Wolves was released recently on the Neo Geo-Gano and was early in the Dreamcast era so it really pushed the graphics capabilities of the time. Fatal Fury never got as much attention as the Street Fighter games but for Neo Geo fans Fatal Fury is a classic franchise.
4) The burning star
Burning Star was a scrolling shooter that was released for the Neo Geo. The Flaming Star and its predecessor the Pulstar were similar to the R-Type franchise. Burning Star was criticized for being a pretty easy game but it made up for it with really good graphics at the time. Blazing Star used pseudo-favorites and CGI cutscenes.
3) Sengoku 3
Sengoku is a series of racing games that was released on the Neo Geo, although the third game is very different from the first game. The third game was about a family of ninjas who were trying to stop an outbreak of Japanese demons.

Metal Slug is a popular series of run and gun video games for the Neo Geo. SNK was failing when Metal Slug 3 was made so all that was left was the last Metal Slug game. In Metal Slug 3 characters could take different forms for the situation including mummy form and zombie forms.
1) King of Fighters 2001
King of Fighters is the eighth installment of the very popular King of Fighters series. The King of Fighters is a lot like Fatal Fury, not as popular as Street Fighter, but with plenty of diehard fans who loved the series. One difference between King of Fighters and other games is that in King of Fighters players can actually make a team of four players and can switch characters during battle.
