1. Sell flowers and flower arrangements. This project has many steps. Not only will it keep your child very busy, it will hopefully generate interest in the garden as well as sales and marketing. It’s nice to collect small recycled containers throughout the year. Teacups, salt and pepper without lids, small containers, shot glasses or any small glasses. At the beginning we really start to look interesting do you make seeds. When the flowers are blooming, have the kids arrange whatever grows in the area in containers and set up shop. 4. Play the instrument at the local farmers market and coffee shop. We are happy to live 3 blocks away. from year round the farmer’s market. When my kids broke my heart, they often (they play rock, trumpet and flute) bring their instruments and head around the market. My son and a friend (who also plays trumpet) often settle for $20 each per hour. Not only are they earn money, they practice the instrument, practice the experience in politics, and learn the skills themselves.
5. Sign up for Market Research. There are two market research groups approaching us. Children who are in the pot. My kids usually wore sneakers and participated in toy studies. They get paid anywhere from $115 to $50 for their opinion and product testing.
6. Sell old toys/games/bikes on craigslist. This will require parental supervision but will teach the kids a> to keep his property in good condition. My kids sold everything from video games, doll houses, bikes and American Girl Doll items. They are in charge of cleaning their item, he presented it as a picture and descriptive writing. This works best for larger items or smaller groups. With a little help my 7 old lady daughter was able to sell it to the dollhouse, they don’t play anymore, except for the money through other odd jobs and buy new American dollars.
7. Be a tutor. When my daughter was in 1st grade, she needed a little extra help reading. I hired a girl across the street 4th grade to read with her for 30 minutes two times a week. My daughter loved this. I did the same thing when my son needed help with math. I hired a neighbor boy two years older to come and help him.
8. Collect bottles and cans. Our city like many others has a bottle and can put it down. This job is probably best for elementary schools child age or pretty desperate teen. We live near a high school. It is easy to store the pickings there after the event in the field. Kids can collect bottles and cans while walking the trail. We also live near a Frisbee golf course, where disc golf and drinks go hand in hand, especially on a warm summer evening. . It’s just money sitting there waiting for someone to work for it.
9. Be a pet sitter and a dog walker. Parents can help this by letting their friends and neighbors know their kids are ready for this kind of service. Even if your child earns $1.00 walking the dog an hour, that is a dollar in the piggy bank plus ½ hour. your children too.
10. Vesalius and the general area is clean. When my daughter recently wanted an ipod and it was clear to her that I wouldn’t run out and get her one, she took matters into her own hands. That careless maid flies. Each detail is copied and colored by hand. (I didn’t mention that she could do one more quickly, and they took photos of the samples, since she was so curious and out of business).
