Have you ever felt that some days have been better? Have you ever had some days where you didn’t even want to get out of bed because you already knew it was going to be a bad day? Nothing is so dangerous. All the days are good; that evil happened in those days. No, I’m not a philosopher, but I’m just trying to clarify things.
They have these “bad days” all the time and then think it’s worse the next day. It’s not how you go about making your day productive, exciting, or even enjoyable. You have to tell yourself that your day will be good. You believe that your day will be the best until tomorrow; Otherwise you shoot yourself in the foot before your eyes are open.
Having said that, I wanted to share with you ten proverbs that will help your performances today. These are not just ten, but just a sample that you can take with you and apply to your life.
“Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power.. a> – Proverbs 3: 27 NIV
This is writing equity for me. It is also written to do the right thing. When you have the ability to defend someone, you should take it. Not that every fight is yours, but if you want to help someone, help them. If you were in a safe place and someone was helping you, you would want to help yourself, right? To me this scripture basically says: If you can do something to help someone in need, then you should do it.
A man is well pleased with the fruit of his lips; but he who is thoughtless in speaking will feel bad. – Proverbs 13:2-3
The mouth is a very powerful weapon. With whom you can speak life, you can speak death. The what we say are often the most powerful confessions. What you really believe will eventually come out of your mouth. At least it will show in your actions. This scripture says that the good things you receive are rewards that come from your mouth, good or bad. Your very life is kept out of your mouth. Just remember what you don’t say, if you think it, it will come out somehow. First, therefore, keep your mind, and let your mouth guard what will help.
“The lazy desires nothing, and the desires of the diligent are fulfilled. – Proverbs 13:4 CPV
The pledge is a reward for itself. This is what the scripture says to me. If you want to enjoy life, you have to work hard to enjoy it. If you’re just frustrated at every little thing, your life won’t be very fulfilling. Sometimes you have to fight to get the joy you have. There are times when you have to make yourself happy. I’m not saying to buy things to make you happy, I’m saying to encourage you to look at the things in your life instead of burdens. This scripture doesn’t just talk about hard work, or even working for material things, but it’s also about keeping your joy, keeping, keeping, keeping your relationships. Life is more than material things, and if you are not loving the immaterial things, they will eventually go away.
“If you find honey, eat enough of it and throw it up.” – Proverbs 25:16
This is my translation: everyone is in life balance. Too much of a good thing will bore you. Of course, God is an exception to this, but even as much as we love God, we cannot spend every waking moment in meditation and prayer. Are they bad? Absolutely not! They are necessary. Let us go out and do justice. We must go out and work. The kingdom must go out and be expanded. Life is all about balance. If nothing else I have learned from life that is. You will go without a kilt.
Also know when something is stopping you. Just like when you eat, and it’s really good food, if you eat a lot of it, you’re going to get bad from it. Food itself did not make you sick, that is gluttony (which is a sin on the road). You’ll go home miserable and probably won’t want to see that food for a while. For as I have seen, I will come to the smallest, the Scripture says to eat enough, eat until you are satisfied, taste it, do not swallow.
“I encourage wisdom with prudence, I possess knowledge and discretion.” – Proverbs 8:12 (CPDV)
Have you ever come across a person who was really knowledgeable and wanted everyone to know how to know? The Bible says that knowledge comes with discernment. True wisdom is knowing when to speak and when to shut up. True wisdom has no pride attached to it, therefore no difficulty is sometimes quiet. You will not have to be right, or have the latest in the matter.
“A cheerful countenance gladdens the heart, and the good news gives health to the bones.” – Proverbs 15:30 CPV b>
Learn to smile every day. To laugh at someone; You’d be surprised how much hope it can give a person. You’re in the middle of nowhere, but that smile becomes contagious. You can think about things that will help you through the day. Consider giving a smile today.
“He who is generous will himself be blessed, who distributes food to the poor.” – Proverbs 22:9 CPV
I heard a guy named Mike Murdock say, and I’ll paraphrase, that seed leaves your hand, but it never leaves your life. Liberality is the seed that continues to be planted and the harvest that is indefinite. Generosity is the first question, the desire to give and to give willingly. Be generous today. One of our desires we once said, we want to be like God, is to give like him. He gives liberally to all who belong to him. He does not withhold anything good from us. Nor should it be withheld when it is convenient to give to someone less fortunate than ourselves. Out of grace or mercy he might be a beggar, not a giver. Giving thanks generously to God for all that He has given us. If we did not give, they would not have. God’s heart is what we willingly give, and we give of ourselves, not only our possessions. You may not have much, but what you can give, give generously. When you give, you will feel less about yourself and more about the recipient of the gift. His heart is always toward others, as it should be, ours.
“A simple man walks confidently; but he who perverts his ways will be found out.” – Proverbs 10:9 (CPDV)
Short returns to long. This is said to have just been done, but still intended. Integrity is the path that leads to the right destination. It was whole and some. Not how with others, but how with you, and with God. It is a process of maturity, and a daily journey. If you lack integrity in any part, you lack integrity, because integrity is complete. There is truth in its simplicity, and in him who is secure, he does not care where he walks, or where he is going, because he walks with him who has established his steps.
“For just as the shaking of buttermilk and the twisting of the nostrils elicits blood, so anger stirs up quarrels.” – Proverbs 30:33
I included this proverb because it is amazing to me how many people live angry! Usually over something stupid, or something not worth remembering five minutes later. If you see a child, he is angry for a few minutes and then goes back to playing as if nothing ever happened. Sometimes it is necessary to have the wisdom of a child. things that they easily forget, they just want to have fun. Yes, anger is real, and it hurts, but the scripture also says not to sin in your anger. Don’t do something you’ll regret. The more angry you are, the more quarrels you will get into. When strife enters your life, nothing else in life works.
If you find that things in your life aren’t working, take a step back and make it zero. If you have a quarrel in your life with someone or with a few, resolve them and make amends. There is no day in the matter that ends well.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your steps.” – Proverbs 3:5-6 CP
This is my writing, probably in the whole Bible. For a thinker and analyst like myself, this is the scripture that grounds me. He tells me that I don’t know everything. He tells me that he wants to direct me if I stop and let him. He tells me not to do everything myself. He tells me that I can have a relationship with Him and He with me. He says I don’t have it because I know I’m hanging on everywhere and everything. He tells me I can relax knowing I did my best. On my own behalf, I need to read on this occasion. It helps me get through the days when nothing makes sense. These and other proverbs that I have said help me in this journey called life.
