So you were accepted into freshman college at the College of New Jersey, I decided to go, & now they have no clue what life is like or even what plan to choose. Do not be afraid; These TCNJ hot tips are here to soothe all your worries. You will see & they should feel like coming back in no time if you keep the following in mind;
1. When given your meal plan options, choose the one with the highest amount of points. You’ll be surprised how many times you eat in places other than Eickhoff, you’ll find the same main dining room & the only place where pre-carte Blanche pays part of your meal plan works. Other eat-y places on campus that only get points: The Rat, T/W (Travers-Wolfe), Student Center, 1855 Room (slightly fancy restaurant), & what you bought from Convenience (the C-Store). You don’t want to run out of points too far before the end of the semester, otherwise you won’t be able to eat at these places with friends or comfortably & quickly before the race without a price he sucks out of his pocket.
2. Step into the New Library (yep, that’s a creative name, huh?) for taking the elevators. It’s healthier for you, and sometimes you take elevators forever. Of course, you have the option of taking the stairs as well, but if you live five floors above, it can be a hassle. Leave a lot of time when making plans or trying to raise a slow race. If you take the train to New York, be prepared to pay about $20 round trip. There is also a Loop bus (for college students to ride for free!, and only those who day & amp; running times (or at least it’s quite frequent). 6. Dorm room alone? Missing a family pet? One to Precious Pets, a few miles down the road from TCNJ. Just make sure you get the right type of cage, your roommate’s agreement, & you have time & on purpose to take care of it correctly & clean the cage as often as needed. Smell is a big factor if you don’t. I bought a guinea pig freshman year, but had to give it up soph year due to allergies. My friend has a hedgehog at school. I know quite a few people who fish & hamsters
7. Mouse (intimate restaurant-type in the Student Center) often shows, live music, & ; other things are done at night. Some of them are 21+ (The Rat serves beer). Check out the stuff you can, & Also pay pay attention to what’s going on in TCNJ’s weekly emails as you can access more shows. during the day – maybe even sign up to play yourself. PS: If you eat at Rat between classes, make sure you leave plenty of time – at least an hour. Sometimes the service can be quite slow if there are many people at the same time.
8. If on one of the top floors of Travers/Wolfe, I WILL BRING A FAN, & lots of them. air conditioning, & the tide rises For wherever you are at home, bring a fan or another. He will not regret it. Also duct tape. Sometimes helping around pulling out sections of windows in T/W (they usually describe the dining room in the room between the two, but also sometimes the two buildings themselves, for convenience) doesn’t stop all the howling. favorite An easy solution: only route the engine to cooler areas than the rest or to internal ventilation. Instant way to make your room warm & warm (or at least warmer & cozier than before) in the cold winter. It is also heating that you command.

Get there a little before your time, since the lines for the elevators can be long, & You don’t want to wait forever to get the heavy stuff there. Bring out all your stuff, hang up the posters, kiss goodbye, & go have fun!
