12 Creative Writing Lessons for Upper Grade Levels

Reading 1;
Write a fictional account of an eyewitness to a historical event.

Reading II;
Write five paragraphs on the topic listed. Start with an outline, provided materials to organizing your ideas. It’s important to write down some important points before you write so that these points are included in your essay. We often forget the important message we were hoping to convey. This allows us not to forget, or at least allows us to leave certain information out of the essay.

Supporting paragraphs should have a statement that begins your paragraph. Define the points in the following sentences. The final sentence in your paragraph should summarize your arguments, and offer a transition to your next point.
Write your essay on the following topic: Why every student today should be computer literate.

Lesson 3;
Choose one classic villain in children, perhaps your favorite, and write no less than one full page about the villain and their attributes. Be comfortable sharing why this villain is your favorite and why.

Reading IV.
Write a five paragraph essay on the following topic: What makes a good teacher?
What are the main things you think a teacher should have? What teaching methods do they have and how would you like your instructor to act to your class? Write no less than a page of response.

Reading 5;
Write a paper that describes why or how to compose advertising. Use examples from commercials, advertisements in newspapers, on the Internet, etc. Be sure to share with those companies that you have decided to use in your paper. This should not be less than one page.

Reading 6;
What is “public care”? Or does it mean the same thing as in medicine, in government, in law, to proscribe? Write no less than one page answering the question.

Lesson 7;
Write at least one page in response to the following question: How to motivate children to achieve.

Reading VIII.
Either defend or refute the following statements in five paragraphs. Big fans, big fans. Try to share as much information as possible about the original writer of the novel as well as the director of the film. List the pros and cons of each example you want to make a rabbit in your five essay essay.

Lesson 9;
Choose a poem and describe it on a paper of not less than one page that expresses and promotes social, ethical and cultural values. It helps if you want a popular song, no matter the times.

Lesson 10;
Everyone likes to laugh, but often laughter doesn’t fit into our daily lives. Please write a paper, no less than one page, that describes the mental and physical benefits of laughter. Bonus points if it’s funny too!

Lesson 11;
Study an example of satire. Satire, a term for any work of literature or art, the object of which is ridicule. It is more easily recognized than defined. Satisometimes they shared a vulgar intention from the ancients: to expose stupidity in all its color, vanity, hypocrisy, impudence; idolatry, hatred, sentimentality—and to bring it to fruition through such exposure. In many ways and in many ways, their expressions have taken the origin of the word satire, which is derived from the Latin satire, that is, “a dish of mixed fruits,” and hence the confluence.
