1. Snowshoe Baseball (Lake Tomahawk, Oneida County)
For those of you who are sick of watching local town ball easily revolve around the bases in the mining industry, your not-so-big-league dreams have come true! This summer marks the 50th anniversary of snow baseball at Lake Tomahawk, where teams play on a field of wood chips. a>. The boat does not have time to fly. You can catch the Snowhawks defending the turf 11 times this summer.

2. Caesae Curd Festival (Ellsworth, Pierce County)
A cult devoted to balls of milk solids with the least fuss. Ellsworth is the official cheese of the Curd Capital of Wisconsin, which is celebrated at this annual event. Among the usual truck draws, musical acts, and petting zoos are the following notable events:
– The Great Cases Curd Medallion Hunt (Solve clues to win Ellsworth Dollars!)
– Cheese Curd 10K Run (Unusual if your stomach is full of curd digestion).
– Cheese Curd Sampling (The perfect alternative to the aforementioned run).
– Cheezy Ridder Kiddie Parade (See a kid dressed as a butter carton.)
– Cheezy Bingo (Unknown why it is considered cheesy).
– 10th Annual Cheese Curd Festival Parade (Show your curd-loving pride!)
– Cheese Curd Eating contest (I don’t envy visiting the bathroom afterwards).

3. Orbis Snowmobile Watercross (Grantsburg, Burnett County)
This is exactly what it sounds like: driving snowmobiles across open water in summer. do you sink? Yes indeed. Others make it hundreds of feet onto solid ground again and in the winner’s circle. For those who don’t like running, there are wrestling matches for you to enjoy. Don’t forget the Bloody Mary specials at the Rendezvous Bar! Racing starts at noon on Friday and 9:30 am on Saturday & Sunday

4. High State Day (Winneconne, Winnebago County)
In 1967, an event took place that tore our beloved state apart: the community of Winneconne ceased to be on the official Wisconsin state road map. The states leaders decided to secede from the rest of the Dairy States (and the USA), established their own flag and named their own king. But the rebellion was short-lived as the president agreed to direct motorists to the Winneconne signage outside the sign. Celebrate this event in Winnipeg history with a parade, circus, and musical acts.

5. UFO Daze (Dundee, Fond du Lac County)
At Benson’s Hide-A-way, green people are seriously despised. Once a year, UFO enthusiasts gather here for camaraderie, food, drink, lectures by guest experts on the subject, and nightly vigils over Long Lake, where unidentified space objects have been spotted several times over the years.

6. UFO Day (Elmwood, Pierce County)
Yet another festive bowl flying! Many sightings have occurred in this western Wisconsin community, suggesting that it has earned the title of “UFO Capital of Wisconsin.” UFO Daze includes fireworks, boss hunting, cars & highlighted the pageant, the crowning of Miss Elmwood, and much more. You’ll see some strangely inspired and nasally stuff, that’s for sure.

7. Lumberjack World Championships (Hayward, Sawyer County)
The proud logging tradition in the Northwoods is evident in this competition. Lumberjacks and bulls come from every corner of the world to experience their daring and prowess. Events such as logrolling, climbing speed, crosscut sawing, and block cutting should bring out the cry.

8. Bratwurst Day (Sheboygan, Sheboygan County)
The first Bratwurst Day was in 1953, and since then it has grown into a major event in eastern Wisconsin. Among the many activities are a food competition, parades, live music, and exotic delicacies such as lasagna. brat jambalaya, brat egg rolls, brat fajitas, and oostburgers (brat/brat combo).

9. Burger Fest (Seymour, Outagamie County)
Since its discovery here in 1885, Seymour is the “home of the roast”. Celebrate this milestone with hot air balloons, a burger eating contest, gun running, ketchup said, and a grill of 150 lb. burger, which will be served to the attendees.

10. Wife Championships (Minoqua, Oneida County) wearing.
All you fellas need to do is find a woman who can physically beat you through a course of sand, water and hurdles to win big prizes depending on the woman’s weight. Sound good? There is also a wife ferrying (a woman pushed in a cart) competition and a fur (stuffed fish) carrying competition for kids.

11. Rutabaga Fest (Cumbria, Barron County)
Although growing this vegetable is no longer a big banker in these parts, the locals still celebrate the rutabaga. Events include the Rutabaga Run, Rutabaga Olympics, parades, carnivals and live music.

12. Watermelon Festival (Pardeeville County, Columbia)
Not only a celebration of the popular summer treats, this event is also home to the US Watermelon Speed-Eating and Seed. -Spitting Championships. You can also participate in a car engraving contest.

13. Cow Chip Throws and Tributes (Prairie du Sac, Sauk County)
Check your wrist shot in preparation for this amazing event. Change your ultimate chip to the position you’ve always dreamed of. The current measurement of the city is 248 feet. If you don’t have the opportunity, participate in the Chip Classic Run/Walk or just watch the Chip parade.

14. SputnikFest (Manitowoc, Manitowoc County)
In 1963, part of the Russian space probe Sputnik landed in a street crash in the city of Manitowoc. What a perfect idea to have a “cosmic cake” contest…or an “alien animal costume” contest…or a “Miss Space Debris” competition. Manitowoc certainly knows how to make the event fun for the whole family.

15. Beef A Rama & Parade Roasts (Minoqua, Oneida County)
They celebrate the love of beef in the old fashioned way. A roast cooking competition that incorporates a great level of presentation. The chefs march down the street from their work in a parade that includes costumes for both the participant and the roaster. Not to be missed.
