In my recent ministry career, in which our course is required of my classmates, and I plan and live in a hospice, but are mission-based funerals, I was reminded of how powerful the Bible can be in an age of death and loss. After losing my mother to cancer when I was 15, these Bible verses still resonate with me at funerals, some of which were shared at her memorial. Therefore, these 20 Bible verses for funerals are intended to provide a biblical source of encouragement and comfort, all of which can be properly used by Funeral service.
2 Corinthians 1:3-5
