It’s time for my 2012 NFL week 15 predictions and reads. Week 15 kicks off the schedule with another Thursday night game. This time travel Cincinnati to Philadelphia on December 13 can the Eagles rebound and play solid football against? I think he’ll take Philadelphia with a solid effort but I think Bengals will prove to be too much of a stretch. Cincy takes this one 23-20. Andy Dalton passes for 2 touchdowns and the Bengals get 3 more field goals.
The rest of the NFL’s week 15 schedule kicks off on Sunday. The Atlanta Falcons beat the New York Giants in a career war game. Will the Falcons continue to play starters down the stretch? Atlanta will do just that in a potential playoff preview against New York. The Falcons narrowly win 26-24.
Matt Ryan found Roddy White for the game winner in the 4th quarter.
St. Louis powers Minnesota in a game that probably doesn’t mean much outside of those respective markets. The Vikings will get 134 yards and 2 touchdowns from Adrian Peterson, but the Rams will win. St. Louis edged Minnesota 22-17.
Jacksonville heads to Miami to fight no one outside of Florida probably gives possession circ. The Dolphins win this one, but the Jags have been competitive lately. I’ll go with 2 Reggie Bush touchdowns and the Dolphins win 17-13.
Chicago hosts Green Bay in what could be a division crown. Bears will be on fire for this one. Can Jay Cutler and the Chicago offense score enough points to keep up with Green Bay? Will the Bears’ defense slow down Aaron Rodgers? This could potentially be a playoff preview either way. Thanks to the Bears for the defensive touch. D.J. Moore returns a deflected interception for the game winner as the Bears win 27-24.
My 2012 NFL season continues week 15 with Washington at Cleveland. The Browns could pull off a potential upset here. I just don’t see the fault in watching Robert Griffin. The Redskins win 27-16.
Denver at Baltimore is a huge game with playoff implications. The Ravens defense will have to show Peyton Manning slow down and make an incredible comeback in his season. The Ravens get 112 yards and 2 scores from Ray Rice but it’s the Broncos who win this one, 23-21.
Houston hosts Indianapolis in what could be another fantastic game. Andrew Luck has been tired but I think the Texans will get a little bit of a break in this one with running back Arian Foster. Houston wins 35-24. Foster threw for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Tampa Bay visits New Orleans in another Sunday NFL game at 3 p.m. The Bucs would like to pin a loss on the Saints, but I don’t see that happening. Brees fires 4 touchdown passes and New Orleans wins 36-21.
Arizona hosts Detroit in a late Sunday afternoon game. The Cardinals beat the Cardinals early and often with Detroit outscoring the Cardinals 33-14.
Carolina is on her way to San Diego. Melli’s split and Norv Turner could throw in the towel as well. It just so happens that Cam Newton delivers a game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter. The Panthers win 26-20.
Buffalo hosts Seattle in other events. The Seahawks could win on a strong road trip but it won’t be in Buffalo. The Bills rise to the occasion and beat Seattle 23-21.
Dallas hosts Pittsburgh rivals. The only problem is the Cowboys seem to be on the decline. The Steelers get a field goal in the final minute to beat the Cowboys 24-21.
Kansas City is in Oakland for the Raiders. Can the Dukes win the road trip even though they are competing against the Raiders? No. Oakland gets 3 Carson Palmer touchdown passes in a 30-10 victory.
New England hosts San Francisco on Sunday night in what could be the game of the week. The Patriots will go up 49 against that defense. I think the bigger question here is how San Francisco‘s offensive environment will hold up against the country’s better defense. New England flexes a bit of pre-playoff muscle beating the 49’ers in the first period 31-21.
My 2012 NFL week 15 predictions and picks include a real stinker on Monday night between the New York Jets and the Tennessee Titans in Nashville. I fully expect the Titans to pull off a blowout in this one. Titans win 24-9. Chris Johnson runs for a touchdown and 132 yards on national television, even though not many people are watching.
That’s it for my 2012 NFL Week 15 picks. I’ll be back in week 16 with another round!
