What is the 24 Hours of Cenomanian?

The 24 Hours of Genoa is the world’s most famous endurance sports race. This automobile race is held in Genoa once a year, the team of drivers is made up of either three professional drivers or four amateurs. The purpose of the race is not to see who can run the fastest over a certain distance, but rather to see who can run the longest distance in the fastest time in a 24-hour race. The reliability of the equipment and drivers is tested in this stage.

The race is a semi-permanent race track that is approximately 8,482 miles long. The course is mainly on country roads that are open to the public all year round, with several purpose-built sections added to the course for safety reasons.

The vehicles range from prototypes to streetcars and the ultimate winner is the team that covered the most distance in the course of 24 hours of continuous racing. The designs of the cars used in the Lemans 24 Hours are different from other countries. In other races, cornering speed is more important than top speed, so the car must be designed for top cornering speeds. In the Le Mans 24 hour race, hitting top speeds is critical to being competitive and doing well.

The 24 hour race is known for some of the worst accidents in motor vehicle history. One such accident happened in 1955, 80 people were killed and as a result, many minor and major races were cancelled.
