3 Favorite Umbrella Stroller Accessories

Unlike a standard stroller, travel system or jogging stroller, stroller umbrellas are compact and lightweight. This makes them ideal for travel, holidays, markets and crowded environments. Unfortunately, due to their compact nature, most stroller umbrellas have few “extra” features. Most of the walking umbrellas usually lack a storage basket, a cup holder and a single long handle. That’s why sometimes umbrella strollers can also feel like a burden, especially when you have to look around for a diaper bag filled with your baby gear and belongings < /a>.

Fortunately, many companies are creating accessories that work under the umbrella of strollers. It’s the best of both worlds: you need a walking deal with storage. This is a review of three of my favorite accessories for umbrella strollers: Sun Kids Stroller Accessory Buggy Buddy, Skip Hop Saddle Bag, and JL Childress Clip N Fer Stroller Hooks.

SOL KIDS STROLLER ACCESSORY BUGGY BUDDY

The regular Kids Stroller Accessory Buggy Buddy is designed to serve as a carrier and carrier for parents. The tray is essentially made of thick fabric and inserted into the wire frame. The tray has two small pockets on each side, which serve as cup holders.

Sol Kids Stroller Accessory Buggy Buddy for stroller umbrella handle with hook-and-loop tabs. Overall, it is easy to feel. This accessory could be used on various types of handles and spacers.

At first I wasn’t very happy with the way the Kids Stroller accessory Buggy Buddy hung from my stroller’s umbrella loops. This hung low enough that it almost touched the baby’s head, and it seemed to weigh a little—so the drink wasn’t quite upright. However, by applying the straps tabs and loops to my stroller with D-rings (instead of the tabs directly around the loops) I found that the Kids Stroller Accessory Buggy Buddy was hanging straight and away from the baby’s head.

The wheels on the Kids Solar Stroller Accessory Buggy Buddy are not particularly tall or strong. They fit perfectly in an ounce water or soda bottle. Don’t use them with a cup without a lid or a light cup (such as a fast food cup). But they were sufficient for my needs.

The storage space in the Kids Solar Stroller Accessory Buggy Buddy was large enough to fit my suitcase and sunglasses, with some room to spare. The tray also includes a removable mesh section that is perfect for my cell phones.

I could close my stroller umbrella with the Sunny Kids Stroller Accessory Buggy Buddy still attached, thus creating a “permanent” cupholder/tray in the stroller. Despite its minor flaws, I am pleased with this walking accessory and have found it very useful over time.

SKIP HOP LAYER BAC

The Skip Hop Saddle bag is a small diaper bag. Three hook-and-loop tabs are sewn into the back pocket. These tabs can be used to attach the dropped hop saddle bag to the side of the stroller’s umbrella, thus creating a “dungeon” look.

Since the Skip Hop Saddle Bag has three hook-and-loop panels, a variety of configurations are possible. I easily attached a diaper bag to the side of this umbrella stroller. This immediately gave me an extra layer on the side of my walking umbrella.

The Skip Hop Saddle Bag includes a drink holder pocket on the outside of the bag. When attached to the side of the stroller umbrella, this diaper bag rests slightly below the stroller seat. That’s why the drink holder pocket is almost the perfect place to store a baby’s sippy cup. For an older boy it will be fine.

Although the Skip Hop Saddle Bag is a bit small, it has enough space for the basics. Most moms will be able to fit in a few diapers, some disposable changing pads, diaper cream, and a light change of clothes. and there are some small toys in the bag. Although you may not be able to walk around the city with all your common weapons, you may be able to carry your requirements.

Overall the quality and appearance of the Skip Hop Saddle Bag is very high. It looks quite charming on the side of the umbrella stroller. Most stroller umbrellas can still be closed with this diaper bag attached, thus providing “permanent” storage in the stroller. Once I attached this canvas bag to my backpacking umbrella, I never took it off. The Skip Hop Saddle Bag was very convenient as it allowed me to use the stroller umbrella without having to carry the bag around as well.

JL COMMANDED THE SON N I WILL CARRY A STRIKER HOOK

After I added the Skip Hop Saddle Bag and the Sunshine Kids Stroller Accessory Buggy Buddy to my stroller, I had diaper/toy storage and a parent cup/tray. however, I did not have a spot on shopping bags. To remedy this problem, I purchased the JL Childress Clip N Hooks Stroller.

JL Childress Clip N Fer Stroller Hooks are spring-loaded hooks that attach to the stroller with a convenient band. They can be attached to the handles of the stroller, or they can be attached to other bars on the stroller.

I attached the JL Childress Clip N to the handles of my stroller’s umbrella hook. These were suitable for carrying shopping bags, such as the type in the largest OEM retailers. I also sometimes use the hook to carry my purse or bag full of snacks and small toys.

CONCLUSION

If you own an umbrella and hate the lack of storage, the Kids Solea Stroller Accessory Buggy Buddy, Skip Hop Saddle Bag, and JL Childress Clip N Carry Stroller Hooks may be the perfect solutions. With these three stroller accessories, you’ll have storage for your bay and your toys, cups and tray, plus hooks to hang your diapers .
