I have always enjoyed Jennifer Lopez movies and there was a time where she was everywhere! He had number one movies that coincided with number one CDs and singles. Now that he is happily married and has twins, he has received the greatest light of his life. Not that he hasn’t done anything, but now that he’s back in the game I thought it would be fun to take a walk down memory lane. What are the best Jennifer Lopez movies? With fifteen movies to choose from, it will be hard to narrow it down to just five!
(5) “The Cell”: In 2000, Lopez took another turn in this psychological thriller. She played a psychiatrist who had mastered a technology that allows you to enter someone’s mind. It’s crispy, interesting and will definitely mess with your head. It was not a big hit for him, as it was another usual romantic comedies. There are also great performances by Vince Vaughn and Vincent D’Onofrio.
(4) “Enough”: Lopez takes on another exciting role as an abused woman who learns to fight back. There are twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat as she takes her husband. Add to that the fact that they have offspring and the stakes are higher. With another actress, this could have been mediocre, but Lopez brings an intensity and vulnerability to the role that makes her a must-see.
(3) “Out of sight”: slick and painful, one can only hope that Lopez will eventually take on more roles like this. It’s sexy, funny, action packed and paired with George Clooney. Clooney plays a federal agent to get down, and the wonderful dialogue and comedy notes are delivered to oblivion. This is the perfect, fun night. Maybe Lopez will work with director Steven Soderbergh again in the future. we can dream!
(2) “The Monster in the Law”: This is clearly the best of his romantic comedies. She has a fantastic Jane Fonda as her nemesis and mother and law. Lopez and Fonda are two great comics and their battles are epic. Lopez also has great chemistry with Michael Vartan, and it really makes their way to the wedding day. Lopez is a likable and quirky character. He has cute best friends and a million jobs. This movie will have you laughing out loud and tearing up at every moment.
(1) “Selena”: If you remember when Selena passed, then you probably cried your eyes out in the middle of the movie. Lopez was lively and magical in the difficult role of the deceased singer. It was said that he did such a good job that it was difficult for Selena to watch the family. Lopez brought Selena back to life and it is still to this day her most moving performance. If you haven’t seen this movie, you absolutely need to rip it now!
