Do you want to make the most of your eyes? To me, if your eyes are sharp and your hair looks good, you will look your best and feel good about yourself.
My five favorite yet simple eye makeup tips are listed below. Don’t leave home without these!
1) My number one eye makeup tip is to use mascara. I like to use Avon’s Amazing Lengths black mascara as I am a brunette. This mascara really thickens your eye lashes. It also appears very long. To this day I have not found a better valley. Avon Mascara is an amazing length for $6.00 a tube but you can get it from Avon every now and then on sale for two tubes of mascara for six dollars. Astonishment Longitude comes in brown too.
Apply black mascara over all the top lashes. Make sure you get the inner eyelids to really open your eyes. I also apply mascara on the tip of the eyelids. It is also eye opening. Next, I apply mascara around the bottom eighth of my outer corner lashes. I don’t care about my bottom so I want to look like Raggedy Ann!
2) My second favorite is to do a needle to dry eyelashes. Then use an eyelash curler. I heard a famous makeup artist say that eyelash curler is one of the most popular, important, eye make-up tips. (Yes, I understood.) It really brightens the eyes.
3) Use eyeliner to bring out most of your eyes. Lightly underline under your lashes. As a teenager I was taught to use eyeliner on my eyelashes. What makes an eye, if you don’t have an eye, but if you move it under the lashes, your eyes will be bigger and brighter! Also, the eyelid will bring out the color of your eyes. Again, use brown if you have blue eyes. You want to apply the party as accurately as possible. If you have blonde hair and a light skin tone, don’t use black eyeliner. That looks harder. Subtle is the key to looking as beautiful as you can.
4) I like to apply shadow over the brown eye shadow. Alone in spring and summer is very delicate. It really brightens your eyes. Try it. You will be surprised!
5) Forehead eyeliner. Match your eyebrows to your eyeliner color. eyebrows religiously pluck your eyebrows into a shape that flatters your face. apply towards the eyebrow in a gentle upward motion to shape the eyebrow. You will be amazed at how professional your look has become.
I don’t buy anything expensive to remove the makeup. My lovely friend and distant relative, Andrea, was visiting from Germany. He used a cotton ball slightly dyed in Baby Oil. It will slowly disappear throughout the day.
