5 Things to Do When Under 21 in Vegas

We all had those trips where we just pierced our minds and it was 14 years of my life. Growing up in “sin city” is hard when you’re a kid, but there are many things I’ve learned over the years that will allow you to have fun while your parents gamble on your college fund and next year’s mortgage payments.

1. Hoover Dam

Hoover Dam sounds like a lot of time but it’s really worth the trip. For those of you who have seen the movie Vegas Vacation the captains are really like “Now your mother Captain Arnie, before we start any questions? its hilarious Hoover Dam is about 30 minutes away and makes for a great day out.

2. Games

Gameworks is on the strip and has joined M&M’s behind the MGM Grand; shop and a bottle of Coca-Cola. I find Gameworks fun for all ages, including me even thinking I’m 22 now and still of legal age to have thousands of games, virtual reality, rock walls and many other works. For $35.00 you can spend the whole day which is worth the money when you think about that quick $20 why not spend an extra $15 and go hang out all day with that kid you met from Idaho.

3. Advent Dome

Theme Park is the world’s largest indoor theme located in the heart of the strip at Circum Circum. You cannot, believe me, be without a house; It’s a HUGE pink turtle. Some of the rides include a water ride where everyone will get wet on the ride, no one will be spared. You will also find roller coasters and many other rides. The Adventure Dome turns into the Horror Dome in October which is when everything from the costumed workers to the decorative rides turn into a Halloween theme.

4. Stratosphere Tower

At the top of the tallest building in Las Vegas you take an elevator that runs at over 20mph to take you to the top of the four rides. The first ride ride is a ride that we see in almost every fair and theme park now but I’ve never been in one like you, since you’re already over 1000 feet in the air why not go another 50 and then freefall while you survey the entire Las Vegas valley? The second cry is to ride; you sit in one of the roller cars and leans against the edge of the building before rolling you down making your stomach drop to the ground with all the people walking as your life flashes before you quickly and in black and white. It is the third roller coaster on the list with the least scare factor but still a roller coaster over 1200 feet in the air, enough to make anyone worry about the future.

The last ride you will find is that I went through it myself and it is almost necessary to change the clothes hanging on the spinner. You will stand in a chair with 11 others and correct yourself with dangling feet. Well, now that your seat is high in the air and you’ve reclined pretty much through the car seat. we need to have a mental judgment. You roll over the strip and while it starts to turn around and finally you are all like hon and shouting like 12 York City. This ride has twists, corkscrews and big drops. Manhattan Express is a great buy and will leave you wanting to get it again.
