6 Simple Remedies for Your Migraine or Tension Headache

When I’m stressed, anxious, or sometimes out of nowhere, when I expect that firm, I feel it happen. A pressure or pressure on the left side of my head. Sometimes it feels like a pounding hammer that won’t go away. He tightens my neck. my eyes hurt or feel strained. I feel the heat, the light and the noise, and the nausea building in my stomach. I get migraines. Sometimes they last a short time and manageable to work or continue my life, but sometimes I build hard hours and take away my job, or a activities I was able to enjoy with friends and family.

A lot of people get migraines or sometimes severe pains tensions, similar to migraines and they don’t really know how to treat it or what it will do. Since there are many drugs on the market, both prescription and over the counter, they can be expensive. I can’t give medicine and sometimes, I bought expensive medicine so that you don’t always work or bad . Since I didn’t want to keep taking the drugs and I played on the effectiveness, I did research and talked to other people. Those who have them and other types of bad tension headaches. I came up with a few things I could do to increase my comfort, and sometimes to stop fighting or moving altogether. I tried many suggestions from message-boards, groups, advice from other people and holistic doctors, and these are the ones. a few things to help me cope. I find the same methods also work for my bad tension or stress pains (not technically migraines).

Please note: I am not a professional doctor and talking to your doctor about your personal treatment. advice and what is best for you, especially before taking too many medications that conflict with any others you are taking. And these kinds of things are not all vices! I have been experienced for a long time, and what works are to be found in me. I’m sharing my top six if I’ve found something you’ve never experienced. I hope at least one or more of these will bring some comfort!

1. A small cup of black coffee. This seems like a joke, but it’s his first line of defense. As soon as I feel that first sign of tension and pressure in my head, I reach for a small cup of coffee with nothing in it. Caffeine expands the blood vessels in the head and releases pressure Sometimes this is enough to stop the migraine building up and avoid a full blown migraine. I pick black coffee and a small amount because I’m trying to cut back on caffeine and sugar when feeling stressed in any way and it wouldn’t help too much overall. No additives, like the ones you find in baking soda, really help me cope with other powers ( difficulties). However, if you don’t have access to a coffee and soda machine, you might as well do the trick.

2. A few tablets of Ibuprofen. Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory. What this means is that instead of masking the pain, it actually works to reduce the swelling. I find that if I relax my head and neck, it can help stop the migraine cycles, or at least make me a lot more comfortable when I’m trying to deal with it.

3. Drink lots of water. I’m not really sure why this helps. I guess I sometimes get too stressed out during the day, I forget to drink how much water I usually do. to do and thus be somewhat dehydrated. Dryness is associated with a lot of pain and irritability, which can be related to headaches and migraines. Why it does that, I now know that if I force myself to drink a lot of water in a short amount of time, it seems to help me suffer less pain and nausea. Do this at the first sign of a migraine though, because I’ve tried choking on water when I’ve been fussy for a while and sometimes it can make me worse.

4. Ice packs or cold compresses. There is none here. Strongly comfort her to have cold compress on the head with her pain and like Ibuprofen if there is tension. swelling, brings

5. Breathing exercises, in a dark room. Without light, heat, or sound disturbances, I am less irritated, and therefore I can focus on relaxation. I was freaking out and thinking “ugh…why is this happening again! I hate migraines!!! You’re doing me wrong!” and other negative thoughts of this kind, which induce fearful thoughts. Now I try to ignore that way of thinking and just deep breath in emergency once when a migraine that did not go away for a period of 6 hours. They gave me a prescription for a dose of the same drug found in the opposite brand of Benedryl, Diphenhydramine. From what I understand, it works on migraine sufferers the way it works on people with hives or extre- allergic reactions – it’s like ” pumping-up” leads to the movement of your nerves and tissues. Advil PM contains the same drug, diphenhydramine, plus Ibuprofen, which reduces any tension, as mentioned above.

I use this as a last resort because it makes me drowsy, so obviously I can’t take it off if I’m sleeping or at work. However, in the case when I have worked so hard that nothing seems to help me and all I can do is lie down and feel bad – I take the recommended dose of Benedryl or Advil PM and usually prescription migraine medication and you don’t need to take it every day for this to work.
