My husband and I were overwhelmed when we were expecting our first daughter. We were excited to meet her, but in our preparation she was confused and overwhelmed by the infinite fruits of children. Besides the obvious baby-essentialia, what will make next year a little easier? Soon after his birth we learned that some things we bought were used much more than others. From my experience as a mom of two, here are seven baby products that just make life a little more bearable as a new parent;
This is one of the most valuable things, but also in the first several months of a developer’s life. They range in price from $50 for small portable ducts up to $200 for large fancy ducts. Babies need constant movement and obviously, parents cannot physically meet these needs. A by swing will soothe and cradle your baby long enough to prepare dinner or better yet, help your baby fall asleep in the middle at night, when you need it most.
Sleeping Bag
Getting babies to sleep is one of the most difficult challenges for a new parent. While babies can be wrapped in blankets, they will undoubtedly soon kick off, leaving your baby cold and uncomfortable. Perhaps worse, a loose blanket could end up dangerously over your baby’s face. A sleeping bag is great. One of these blankets will run you about $20 and accommodate children as young as 5 years old. >.
Balbus Balneus
It is not easy to bath slippery babies, especially when they are newborns. Bath time bath time is pleasant and more importantly safe for your baby. Some baths are not only suitable for fetal slings, but also suitable for children of any age. The cost of a baby bath will run you about $17-$35 depending on the features.
Converting Pad
This items for babies and toddlers is a must, and on average is about $20. Changing diapers can be a messy and tricky process, especially when babies are sick. This is another potentially expensive item that is well worth it! Drivers can run from $50-$150. But it’s hard to put a price on something that kids love! If you need to cook, clean, or just take a healthy break, the exersaucer is a fun and safe option.
Shopping Cover
A cardboard envelope is a simple yet useful accessory that costs on average $30. Using a plastic bag keeps the seeds out of the babies, and provides a much more comfortable seating area. It also accommodates hanging toys. My husband and I also used high chairs in the restaurant to keep our daughters more comfortable and help them sit up straight. The shopping cart cover is washable and folds easily to create a convenient carrying case.
Holy Machine
Last, but not least, a sound system is a must-have for any new parent and should cost at least $20. Sleeping babies can be finicky and sometimes it’s difficult to give your baby an attractive sleeping environment. Bedtime and bedtime become even more complicated when there is a sibling in the house who sleeps on a different schedule. Put the sound machine on a timer, or leave it to run indefinitely. White noise will block out all the worst sounds that can wake up a sleeping baby. The result is a well-rested baby and happy parents.
