7 Online Places to Find Cheap DVDs

I love to collect DVDs and my boyfriend does. They have probably 1,000 movies coming up. We spent $20,000 on these movies? No. In fact, some of these DVDs were really cheap, costing under $1. It’s hard to find, but you can find DVDs for cheap if you know where to look. Here are seven great places to find cheap DVDs.

Amazon Market: I found several DVDs on the Amazon market. Some of these movies cost only $0.01! Talk is cheap. Granted, there aren’t any new DVDs, at least not in most cases, although I did find two new movies for only two bucks. You must be mindful of the descriptions and make sure the DVDs are in good condition and come with a case. Also check the seller’s feedback.

Half.com: Another place where you can find DVDs for mere pennies is Half.com. You can find just about any DVD you want and get them really cheap. Again, you should note the description of the DVD, and check the retailer’s reviews carefully.

EBay: Most of the time, you’ll only find DVDs on EBay for $5 and up, but it’s still a great price. EBay’s utility has pictures of the item you are ordering along with a more detailed description. Be very careful when shopping on EBay and make sure they come with cases and artwork and don’t choose Books and CDs for purchase. which come from Hong Kong, or claim to have them by writing in a foreign case. Check the seller’s feedback making sure that other buyers have not claimed to have received the codes.

Columbia Home: By joining the Columbia Home Video Club, you will be able to get 5 DVDs for $0.49 each. It is surprising that it is cheap. Now you’ll have to buy a certain amount of DVDs to fill your membership, but that’s a lot. There are so many great activities offered by Columbia House that you can complete your membership quickly. For example, with a CD-only set that I counted with two excerpts, I got a free movie and unlimited DVDs at 50 off. So I ended up with 10 DVDs for only $62.

Netflix: I don’t mean not copying the DVDs you get from Netflix. Netflix offers used movies for sale. They come with a case and artwork and are under $10.

Yard Sales: The great thing about most yard sales is that most of them are throwaway items. and he tries to sell it cheap. This includes DVDs. Most will have cheap prices on DVDs and will offer better deals if you want to buy more than one.

Flea Markets: Flea markets used to be nothing like this. Flea markets now have sellers who deal in one item. There is usually at least one retailer that has DVDs. I found amazing DVDs for only $3-5. Like floor sales, sellers in flea markets tend to lower the price for each movie if you buy more than one.

Please remember when buying used or cheap DVDs online that they are copies. Copies to avoid buying only discs that they buy in cases, have original works, and preferably ex. Also remember that if it sounds good, it probably is. Cheap DVDs, such as $0.01, for new movies are more than likely copies. When buying used DVDs at a flea market or consignment sale be sure to open the case and check the disc for scratches.
