8 Shows at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida

Busch Gardens, Tampa, Florida has everything for the whole family, including these great shows.

Pirates 4-D.

This show has been running for two years now. I preferred the previous “The Haunted Lighthouse”, but progress continues and new shows appear.

The star of the show is Leslie Nielsen so you know it’s going to be a comedy. It’s a 3-D movie so you have to put on the funny glasses. It is located on a ship and on an island where the pirate’s treasure is hidden. The 4-D part enters when you enter the Timbuktu Theater. I watch people walking up and down trying to find a dry seat for beetles. So the water has to come from somewhere. In fact, there is no escape, it is done from the back seats in front of you and from the ceiling. You can also feel other effects that are happening on the big screen.

It is a fun show for the whole family. However, there is quite a lot of noise if you have small children.

I advise you to be early as the doors close early and stay locked throughout the show. The show runs for 15 minutes.

KaTonga – Musical Tales from the Jungle.

This took place in the Moroccan Palatine Theater, just to your right as you enter the park. I came again early, because you cannot enter the theater once it has started. This monster is located in the heart of Africa. He cleverly incorporates the cub with the animals of that region. This is not my show and I have only seen it twice.

The music and dance will linger long after you leave the building. This show runs 35-40 minutes.

Miracles Canteen.

A good outdoor show with the stage right in front of you. If you love 1940’s music, dancing and fun, this is the place for you. Although I was not born in the war, all the songs are familiar to me. The fingers were tapped and I sang along. There were also great dance routines.

The show is 25 minutes but you can come and go as you like in the open air.

Friends Forever.

This show is based on the story of the Dragon in the children’s theater Busch Gardens. Dumphrey and his friends sing, dance, and join the children. Although I did not have my children with me, Len and I saw and enjoyed this show. Now we walk across, joining in the singing as we walk the floor. This is show room and running for 15 minutes.

wild animals of Africa.

This show is near the House of Hospitality, where you can get 2 free beers a day if you’re 21 or over. You sit in the seats with the stage in front of you. Birds, however, fly in all directions. I really love eagles and owls. This show is wonderful for any family and is very educational. This is a 25-minute show that the chair wants.

At the Grill Restaurant table.

This is always fun, but it changes throughout the year. At the beginning of the year they usually have Irish dancers. The show regularly sings and dances from rock-n-volt to the present day. They also have an amazing Christmas show for part of November and December. If you happen to go to one of these shows, a couple of keyboard and guitar players will entertain you.

Stanleyville Theatre

Bands have dances here in the spring. We were lucky enough to see the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, the Terry Myers Orchestra, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, and the Les Brown Band. We also used Herman Hermit and John Davidson.

The Mystical Sheikas of Morocco travel around Busch Gardens in red and gold ornaments. There are brass bands and they stop and play for the guests. They also sing and dance and interact with the people. We always wanted to see them on our regular visits.

During the longer summer evenings they have summer nights with entertainment included in the entrance fee.
