If for some reason you have been living under a rock, Kelly Clarkson has had four exceptional CDs. Her first album, “Thankful,” showed the promise and potential of a singer that we had certainly not heard the last of. The smash “Breakaway,” had hit after hit, and the music world realized Kelly Clarkson was a force to be reckoned with.
Clarkson followed with a deeply personal and controversial, “My December.” Her record company fought her on it, but she stood by her artistry. Because of this, we got to see a side of Kelly Clarkson we had never heard before. Love it or hate it, fans loved that Kelly fought for her art. Her last album, “All I Ever Wanted,” was a nice combination of old sounds and new. It had mature ballads, and some really fun, up-tempo gems as well. It also boasted 3 radio hits.
As we await her fifth album, this list will rank all 52 of the songs off of her four albums from worst to best. Though with Kelly, it’s not like any of them are bad songs by any means. It should also be noted, that I am not including any bonus tracks, country duets, or her songs released on American Idol albums. This is just her songs from her four CDs.
