Quick Lunch Recipes with Grands Biscuits

Grands Flaky biscuits by Pillsbury always go great with dinner but they can also make an awesome lunch. With relatively few ingredients you can make yourself some tasty treats that are great for adults and kids too! When I am hungry at lunch or in the mood for a snack these recipes work wonders!

Itty Bitty Pizzas

What You Need:
Large can of Grands flaky biscuits (or Biscuits with butter, whichever you prefer)
Shredded mozzarella or mixed cheese
One jar of tomato sauce
(You can also cut up and add bacon, sausage, pepperoni, ham, veggies or any toppings you like!)

-Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
-Grease a baking sheet
-Open biscuit can and place biscuits about one inch apart on baking sheet
-Using your fingers, press each biscuit down. Squish them down as flat as you can. Do not worry if the dough won’t stay completely flat (that is normal). Make sure there is still room on the baking sheet so that your pieces of dough aren’t touching each other.
-Open your can of sauce and grab a spoon. Spoon out about 2-3 tablespoons of sauce on each piece of dough in the centers. Spread using a small circular motion, keeping sauce in the middle and not getting it on the edges.
– Sprinkle shredded cheese of your choice on top of each piece of dough. (Add toppings if necessary)
– Bake for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and biscuit dough is cooked
– Enjoy!

Yummy Tuna Pocket Melts

What You Need:
Large can of Grands flaky biscuits (or Biscuits with butter, whichever you prefer)
Shredded mixed cheddar and mozzarella cheese
2 Cans of Tuna (I prefer one large pouch of Starkist Flavor Fresh Chunk Light tuna in water)

-Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
-Grease a baking sheet
-Open biscuit can and place biscuits about one inch apart on baking sheet
– Open tuna can or pouch, drain, dump into a big bowl
– Throw about 1 ½ cups of shredded cheese into bowl with tuna
– Mix tuna and cheese well with a spoon and set aside
-Using your fingers, press each biscuit down. Squish them down as flat as you can. Do not worry if the dough won’t stay completely flat (that is normal). Make sure there is still room on the baking sheet so that your pieces of dough aren’t touching each other.
– Spoon out tuna and cheese into centers of each piece of dough. Use about 1/4 cup tuna mix for each one.
– One at a time, carefully lift one end of each piece of dough. Fold over and pinch or press down so that it closes and makes the shape of a pocket. Tip: To prevent tuna mix from falling out when folding the dough over, place one hand over the tuna mix and lift up one side with your thumb and your spare hand. Press down immediately!
– Cook for about 12-14 minutes or until biscuit dough is slightly brown and cooked thoroughly
– Enjoy!
