If you are in need of information on your Corvette, there are so many places on the web to check out. I should know – I spent almost a year of my life (and there will be time spent in the future!) working on a thesis involving the Corvette Culture. During that time, I found plenty of sites that include all things Corvette, including:
The Corvette Forum:
This is really the place to be if you are a Corvette owner or plan on becoming one. Here you can find information on new and used Corvettes, Corvette classifieds, other people with Corvette fever, and information on Corvette-related events, local and across the country.
If you can’t wait to meet up with other Corvette enthusiasts in person, the forum is a great place to get to know others. You can post questions, car problems, and plenty of other things. Find the site at: www.corvetteforum.com/
The National Corvette Museum:
The National Corvette Museum was created to celebrate, preserve, and continue the legend of the Corvette. Originally planned to be a archival library, the Museum has become much bigger than anticipated and continues to grow. Currently at 68,000 square feet, the Museum has plans to expand to include a dedicated room for the library archive, a cafe, more displays, and more.
Details of the addition, including a floor plan and photographs can be found at the site, along with information on the car over the years, short biographies on people who help to make the car what it is today, and information on you can donate. A store full of Corvette goods is also part of the site. Visit: www.corvettemuseum.com/
The Bowling Green Assembly Plant:
Before visiting the plant, check out the site for exciting details you probably won’t hear about on your public tour. Did you know that the plant itself sits on 250-acres of land is the equivalent of 22 football fields joined together? You can find more facts like this, as well as, the plant’s history, and public tour information.

Connect with other Corvette enthusiasts through the digitalcorvettes.com forum. www.digitalcorvettes.com
CorvetteGirls Blog:
My new blog focusing on my experiences and travels with a Corvette and the “Corvette Girls” that I’ve met along the way. It’s brand new and growing every all the time.http://corvettegirls.blogspot.com/
Corvetteracing.com:
Includes information on the official Corvette Racing Team. Meet the racers and the places they tour.
Corvettes Conquer Cancer:
Started by Sandy Labaree, who fought three different types of cancer for most of her life, and now continued by her husband, Ben, this website talks about the tour, and the Corvette events is visits to raise money for cancer. You can get to know Sandy better by reading the columns that she wrote for a local newspaper before she passed away.
Check out photos of the original ‘Vette that was used for the tour, and the brand new ‘Vette that was purchased by friends of the Labarees and people prominent in the Corvette community. Their goal was to help continue this worthwhile cause. Check out the site to see how you can help:
