Christmas and winter are a great time to have a drink and kick back and relax to enjoy the holidays. My teenage daughter was a pleasure to serve and enjoyed tasting many holiday drinks. Here are a few of the favorites that my father has suggested to me over the years to help ring in time.
1. Chocolate Pudding
Storm is served in a 15oz glass, in 2 oz of Southern-comfort, add 2 oz of Drambuie, and top with 10 oz. draft beer This drink will give the taste of beer with a twist of honey, herbs, and peaches.
2. Merry Christmas
Simple and light, shot in a 2 oz glass and stir in Peppermint Schnapps and Egg Nog.
3. Christmas Egg Nog
This drink is a bit more complicated and is usually made to serve more than one way. In a bowl you want to beat 6 eggs, and add a cup of sugar until it is thick. Next, you’ll want to use another bowl to beat the whites of those 6 eggs with ¼ cup sugar until thick. . In a third bowl beat 1 liter of heavy cream until thick and add the cream to the yolk, a fold of eggs, add 4 liters of milk, 1 liter of Bourbon, 1 tablespoon of vanilla, and a pinch of nutmeg. You may want to go ahead and chill this in the freezer before serving in a large metal bowl.
4. Frosty Noggin
Served in a parfait glass, you want to mix 1 and oz of Rum, oz. Creme de Cacao, 3 oz. of Egg Nog, and 3 cups of vanilla ice cream until smooth and topped with whipped cream.
5. Class fit White Russian
You want to be filled with 8 oz. Add one and a half oz of vodka and one and a half oz of Kahlua to a glass with ice, add four oz of cold Egg Nog, stir and enjoy.
6. Blizzard
Blend 1 oz Brandy, 1 oz Irish Crème, 1 oz Coffee Liqueur, 1 oz. Light rum, 1 oz. light cream, and 2 scoops of vanilla cream until creamy and smooth pour into the glass of choice and cinnamon powder.
7. Peppermint Penguin
It’s a holiday drink. You want to mix half an ounce of green Crème de Menthe, one ounce of Chocolate Mint Liqueur, 3 Orco Cookies and three ounces of light Cream and one cup of ice“. Blend until crushed ice and serve in a glass of your choice with Orco Crustulum sprinkled on top.
8. Snow Bunny
Here the drink is easy and alcohol is to be drunk. All you have to do is pour 1 oz. of Triple Sec fill in hot chocolate. Sometimes this drink is prepared with cream be careful and sprinkled with mace or forgotten whipped cream and just add a cinnamon stick. for the exciter.
9. Angelic Kiss
In a Pousse coffee glass, pour 1 oz white Crème de Cacao, 1 oz Sloe Gin, 1 oz Sublimate, and 1 oz Cream into the glass. Do not mix.
10. Chocolate Snow Bear
Combine 1 oz of Amaretto, 1 oz of Crème de Cacao, 5 oz. French vanilla ice cream, 1 oz chocolate syrup, and 2 oz vanilla extract in a low blender. speed for about 2 minutes and pour the chilled champagne pipe.
11. Christmas Glogg
This drink is more along the lines of a crowd pleaser, a party drink if you’re going to do it. You will need two bottles of white wine white wine, 20 cl of Vodka, 37 cl of dry Sherry, 4 pieces of cinnamon. , 2 tablespoons of cardamom seeds, one tablet of cloves, 4 pounds of golden bark and 30 cl of sugar. Heat half a bottle of spiced wine and sugar under the heat, almost boiling. Remove from heat. 24 hours apart from each other. Carefully add the spices, and the wine, vodka, and the rest. Add about 10 aromatic tinctures (this is a spice blend). Bottle your glogg, seal it well, and let it mature for a week. Mix with Red wine or water, heat and serve in a cup of Irish coffee.
12. Joy to the world
Pour 1 oz of Anejo Rum, 1 oz of Bourbon, and 1 oz of Dark Crème de Cacao into a mixing glass and fill the center with ice cubes , stir well and strain into a cocktail glass.
13. Viscous
In a ball glass filled with ice, combine 1 oz crème de almond, 1 oz crème de cacao albino, 1 oz Swiss mocha cream, and 1 oz grenadine. Fill a glass with half and half and top with Coca-Cola and a cherry.
14. Nuts ‘N Holly
In a shot glass, add one part Drambuie, one part Bailey Irish Cream, one part Frangelicos, and one part Amaretto … and drink!
15. Golden
Mix 1 oz of Piri Liqueur, 3 oz of milk, crushed ice and 7-up together and pour into a cocktail glass to serve;
