2010 Miami Dolphins: Preview and Prediction

Miami regressed last season, finishing 7-9. Competing in the tough AFC East, the Miami Patriots and the Jets will play twice. The remaining schedules will be slightly easier than the 2009 schedule. Here is the 2010 Miami Dolphins preview and prediction.

Tzadia Henne will be the quarterback for the 2010 Miami Dolphins. He was 7-6 last season. Henne showed amazing accuracy last year. There will be some interception, but it will be ripe. He has Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams on his hands. Williams is very old for a running, but he has yet to show any signs of decline. Miami upgraded wide receiver Brandon Marshall from Denver. If Marshall is with the coach, [not in Denver] Miami can stretch. Greg Camarillo and Devon Bess will both benefit from playing with Marshall. Anthony Fasano is slated to start at tight end. It’s a fine line. Jake Long will be at left tackle. He is long in his third year, but already people remember him with the greats. Rookie John Jerry will play guard on the left side, replacing the departed Justin Smiley. Jake Grove will be the center, as long as he can stay healthy. Richie Incognito and Vernon Carey will play on the right side. Look for Miami to run after Long and Jerry all the time. Injury problems plagued the unit last season. If the 2010 Miami Dolphins offensive line stays healthy, they’ll run with anyone.

The defensive line was a weakness last season. This year is still not great. Kendall Langford will play one end. The other defensive end will be the highly touted rookie, Jared Oldrick. Thomas Starks will be in the middle. Karlas Dansby came in to play inside linebacker. Soon the leader himself will be defended. Channing Crowder will join Dansby in the middle. Outside assistants will be Charlie Anderson and rookie Koa Misi. Sean Smith, Vontae Davis and Allen are all rolled to the corner. Yeremiah Bell and Reshad Jones play safety. Chris Clemons and Tyrone Culver will add depth to the 2010 Miami Dolphins secondary. From the defense of Goey Porter. Everything about his game was declining, except talking nonsense.

Dan Carpenter will be there again this year as a footballer. In 2009, Carpenter hit 90 percent of his field goals. Punting services will be provided by Brandon Fields. He averaged 46 yards last year. Davone Bess, Patrick Cobbs, and Kory Sheets will return for the 2010 Miami Dolphins punts and kicks. Coach Saprano demands good special teams plays. This will decide a few games, as it always does.

The best course is game time. Marshall will pick up the passing game, but it won’t be enough to win the division. My prediction for the 2010 Miami Dolphins is a 9-7 record. Although he is going to win the record, the fish will still finish behind New England and the Eagles. With two good breakouts, the 2010 Miami Dolphins will compete for a wild card playoff berth.
