2012 Fantasy Football Dynasty League Sleepers

Are you a casual fantasy football manager who opts for 12 team standard redraft leagues? Would you like to evaluate players based on how they will perform immediately in 2012 as opposed to looking at their potential for future stardom? Don’t you like being bothered by the thread of combing rejection and always trying to track down the next big dream? If you answered yes to any of those three questions then chances are this article is not what you were looking for. This article is intended to attack sleepers and super sleepers for dynasty purposes. These players may also be available in the free agent markets of 16 dynasty league teams, and should be targeted in the upcoming rounds of the draft. Some of these players could make an impact in 2012 and beyond, while others are a year or two away. Chances are at least half of these names won’t even be called on draft day if you’re putting them in a big league dynasty, but they all should. This is meant to be a comprehensive list of both low cost and complete out of nowhere top class sleeper players. Without further ado, I give you my 2012 fantasy football dynasty sleeper league, broken down by position.

Fourth

Blaine Gabbert (Jacksonville Jaguars) – Not going to lie a year ago at this time, I would have told you Blaine was expected to be better long-term than Cam Newton. It is clear that I decided to retire from that state, about the 2nd half week of one of the next year. However, that doesn’t mean Gabbert has been written off at all. Last year he competed strongly in every aspect of the game. He looked skiddish in the bag, didn’t stop to retrieve his bow and read the field like Ryan Leaf. A number of factors came into play for the starters that brought Gabbert together in 2011, and they all improved in the 2012 offseason. Blaine was literally throwing WRs who wouldn’t have been to the college division in the first place. Mike Thomas, Jason Hill, Jarrett Dillard, Cecil Shorts and Chastin West…those names strike fear into the hearts of the secondary as Shonn Green hits let us fear the cabbage and the mighty‘s hearts. The Jaguars traded to get Justin Blackmon and paid Lawrence Robinson a boatload of cash in the offseason, giving them two legitimate starting NFL WRs and also allowing Mike Thomas to move to slot back, where he showed flashes of success in 2010. Gabbert also struggled on the catch as he was completely pushed in the early going. He is coming off a controversial offense at Missouri and was forced to start early in the season because the Jags’ only option was Luke McClown. Anyone could have predicted his struggles last season, this is the type of QB that should have been on the clipboard last season. He now has game experience, and more importantly, a full offseason lockout free to fully develop his game and transition to the NFL. The last major hurdle that Blaine faced as of late was the coaching staff. Jack Del Rio was an atrocious head coach in a way over his head and the position coaches all followed his example. The Jaguars have cleaned the house and brought in Mike Murlarky, who had success in the cult of Matt Ryan. NFL QB for the Atlanta Falcons. Give this kid some weapons, a full offseason and a new coaching staff that knows how to draft a quarterback and play to his strengths and he’s perfect for a sleeper dynasty heading into 2012.

John Skelton (Cardinals) – Skelton’s placement here as a sleeper assumes he will win the job in Arizona, although if he doesn’t get it right because of Kevin Blob’s contract, ask Skelton to take over by week 4. He. strong arm and coming out of Fordham reminded me a lot of Ben Roethlisberger. Skelton’s biggest issue is that Kolb doesn’t have the arm strength and willingness to get the ball down the field. He’s going to make mistakes, as any young QB wants to, but with those mistakes come opportunities. Kolb was the king of the checkdown last season, and it was brutal to watch him throw in the window to an open Larry Fitzgerald. Skelton was hoping to throw her into triple coverage and hope for the best, but with Fita’s type of talent, he’d rather have it as a fantasy community. The Cardinals have enough talent at WR for Skelton to be a good fantasy QB, especially with the addition of big body Michael Floyd in the offseason. Throw in a good running game to take some of the pressure off and Skelton is ready to take over in Arizona. Fantasy owners everywhere will show their long-awaited QB not named Kurt as the Ducks don’t shoot for their top WR fantasy.

Russell Wilson (Seahawks) – Wilson was at least a year away from making an impact in the NFL and was only checked for dynasty goals. However, his overall skill and situation make him a determined man not to be overlooked at all. He transferred to the University of Wisconsin last year and took over the offense as a 4th year starter. The competition for the starting job in Seattle couldn’t be much worse than Matt Flynn has a weak arm and is simply the product of GB’s stellar offense and Tarvari Jackson well… Tarvari Jackson. Wilson is without a doubt the most talented QB on this team and has shown a new ability to take over the offense quickly. Expect him to be under center for the Hawks from the start of the 2013 season, and I expect big things with his talent.

Other players to target:

Sam Bradford (Rams)

Matt Schaub (Texans)

David Garrard (Dolphins)

Ryan Mallett (Patriots)

Brock Osweiler (Broncos)

Colin Kaepernick (49ers)

Joseph Webb (Vikings)

width receptor

Eric Decker (Broncos) – Decker has picked up the NFL game quickly and is going to be Peyton’s favorite target in Denver this year. A lot of guys are tempted to follow six-time pick Demary Thomas, whose ADP is higher than Decker’s. Although Thomas Decker may have more raw talent, he may play better than Manning. Decker is an excellent runner and can spot all over the defensive secondary. When Decker can send Manning to a position and believe that he will be there to catch him. Thomas, on the other hand, never played on offense for style, until his college days at Georgia Tech. For this reason, he (recently admitted by Demaryius) never really had to learn how to run good routes. Running patterns fly in college to running scholastic patterns with Limmy Tebow at the helm. He also couldn’t stay healthy, which curtailed his progress a bit. Decker would be a bargain if he was drafted at Thomas’ ADP, but he’s going much lower, which makes him a steal. Grab a Decker in the mid/wide rounds or around the $10 shell at auction and reap the rewards every time. From the dynasty, Decker and Manning should make sweet music together for at least the next 2-3 years, with Manning giving way to the one-armed Goliath Brock Osweiler.

Laurent Robinson (Jaguars) – Many people are down on Robinson after his breakout season with Dallas last season. Why, I understand, having a guy from Romo, Tony threw him to the inexperienced Gabbert. He is also moving away from Milone, Dez and Witten in coverage in Dallas to become one of the main centers of the offense in Jacksonville, which will bring with him additional coverage. However, Robinson has the talent to succeed and is ideal for his situation when you consider the number of looks he will receive. I believe Robinson will quickly develop into Blaine’s favorite target, and join his young QB-WR ranks who will live as long as you can hope for. The Jaguars traded Justin Blackmon to draft # WR, but Blackmon is a rookie and so will have a learning curve. He is also much less physically gifted than the young AJ Green and Julio Jones, who can simply take over. beasts with their shearing talents. Let’s hope it’s also because Blackmon attends the truth in the recent rookie conference, as he has already been arrested for drunk driving< /a> since April it was written. Given all of Blackmon’s red flags, I think he will have some time to develop while helping Robinson mature his reputation with Gabbert. Marcedes Lewis should get his head right this season, and he’ll also help take some of Robinson out of coverage. By drafting Laurent at his current ADP you can expect to get a solid WR2 for a flex price. Draft him/auction draft with a discounted financial price and enjoy a developing relationship with a young and better QB. .

Brian Hartline (Dolphins) – Hartline is a super sleeper at WR for 2012 and beyond. With the departure of Brandon Marshall from Miami Hartline, Miami’s #1 WR role will fall by default. The word out of OTAs is that David Garrard is set to open camp as the starting QB, and is on track to start the season. Brian Hartline’s evaluation will be similar to whether Garrard or Matt Moore is at QB, since they will have neither to throw as well. Davone Bes is best suited to be a slot receiver, and although Legedue Naanee has looked decent so far, his career has been disappointing so far. Hartline recently had minor surgery and was unable to attend OTAs, but he will be ready to go to training camp and has literally no one there to challenge him for targets. He’ll be good for 800+ yards and 3+ TDs at the bottom end simply by looking at that warehouse. FA’s largest league, including 16 teamers. Look for him to progress as a WR as his role expands and he’s ranked as Miami’s #2 WR for the foreseeable future. For 2012, he will be their #1, but in 2013 with Tannehill ready to start he will (maybe) bring another target to Hartline.

Other players to target:

Robert Meachem (Charges)

Reuben Ranulphi (Giants)

Leonard Hankerson (Redskins)

Brian Quick (Rams)

Jonathon Baldwin

Lester John (Texans)

Travis Benjamin (Browns)

Run

Issac Redman (Steelers) – Redman will inherit the starting RB spot for the Steelers to open the season as Reshard Mendenhall will open the year out of physical fitness (PUP). I don’t see Redman ever returning to the starting gig. He has shown flashes of talent over the last stretch of the season, and has been given the opportunity to showcase his skills as a feature back. By the time Mendenhall suffered a full ACL tear at the end of 2011, the Steelers will already be trying to remember who he is. Redman’s ADP is now incredibly low for a feature in running in the first “ground and balance” offense. Sure, Big Ben will play a little more with Mike Wallace, Anthony Brown, and Emmanual Sanders all emerging, but the Steelers will still be playing a great defensive team for the first time. Redman will shoulder the load in 2012 as he consolidates his status in the process and will be the starting RB for the next 5+ years in the black and gold. This year in the dynasty leagues draw him and enjoy the wonderful feeling of finding a rare feather out of thin air.

Rashad Jennings (Jaguars) – Whether or not Maurice Jones Drew and the Jaguars get his contract sorted this meal or not Jennings is a huge sleeper for 2012 and especially in the league’s dynasty. His name was called by many savvy fantasy owners last season, who continued to see him fall victim to “year after year. Torn ACL, and MJD has even more tread on the tires than in 2011 the only part of your entire team’s offense, and MJD is slowly going down. The back was Fred Taylor for a few years before he received facial features, but he had major knee surgery and worked his way into the ground when he took over the RB duties. https://e-info.vn/tag/team-games”>game even though MJD with the team He pulled one pick in the left at best. Despite passing 1,600 yards last season against 11 men in the box in all The story seems to be missing, some breakout that made him the star RB that he has been for years. If he comes to camp and is ready to go at the beginning of the season, I usually write him from 2012, but Jennings will still be in the mix, and the season of Drew Jones will soon be the end will come. Buy low/sell high on Jennings and MJD this season for dynasty goals. If the holdout did well in training camp and bumped Jennings up on your draft board for an immediate impact in 2012, don’t remind anyone what CJ.2YPC did last season.

Jason Snelling (Falcons) – Like Jennings, Snell is a talented backup whose predecessor is nearing the end of the road. Unlike Jennings, Snelling’s immediate impact does not prevent contract talks. Michael “The Burner” Turner was fired, the vehicle was fun while it lasted. Atlanta is going to go with several running backs through the draft (RBBC) this year, and Snelling will have a bigger job. Turner is simply done and Jacquizz Rodgers isn’t built to handle more than Reggie Bush in the role of the New Orleans style offense. Snell has shown talent when given the opportunity to carry the load, and will be given every opportunity this season. The Falcons will also lean toward scoring more than they ever have before with new offensive lineman Dirk Koetter and the rapid development of offensive tackle Julio Jones. That will take more pressure off the run, allowing Snelling to find open running lanes and have the safeties play and worry about Roddy/Julio hitting the home run. Saddle has an incredibly low ADP and is likely to be picked up by free agents in every league since 16 teams. He should have been targeted in the 16th dynasty team in the draft and is now traded as his value will never be lower again. Saddle is on the cusp of solid RB numbers.

Other players to target:

Donald Brown (Colts)

Bernard Scott (Bengals)

Tim Hightower (Redskins)

Montario Hardesty (Browns)

Joe McKnight (Jets)

Dion Lewis

David Wilson (Giants)

The end of the treaty

Kyle Rudolph (Vikings) – Consider where you would be right now in the league if you drafted Rob Gronkowski and Jimmy Graham in 2011. Help him realize that dream in 2012 by telling him to attack Kyle Rudolph. The monster is a guy with amazing hands who serve as a perfect salvation for young Christians. Both are entering their second year and should develop an incredible chemistry with each other that will be evident on the field this season and for years to come. Don’t let the signing of John Carlson in the offseason scare you, that guy never played in the NFL and was simply brought in as insurance and ends up playing at two tight ends. . Rudolph will be the man in Minnesota, and he will quickly develop into a favorite target across the field, because consider him much like Jimmy Graham was for Drew Brees last season. As with everyone else in this article, his ADP is incredibly low considering his ceiling (and floor for that matter) and Rudolph is a draw in all drafts this season, especially in the dynasty. It will be the next best thing to YOU in the next decade. One of my old friends still laments to me how I stole LaDainian Tomlinson from him years ago in the 1st dynasty draft when he decided to pick Ricky Williams instead of…don’t be. Guy, you don’t want to miss the boat on Jimmy Graham 2.0.

Jacob Tamme (Broncos) – Peyton Manning touching down in City High Mile has had a residual effect on the fantasy value of so many players whose not the youngest before you, Jacob Tamme. Tamme’s stock skyrocketed the day he followed Manning to Denver, and most fantasy managers don’t seem to have gotten the news given how low he worked in the morning. Peyton Nisl has always loved the TE, as evidenced by the several years of fantasy dominance that Dallas Clark has enjoyed. Tamme stepped in to work for Clark when he went out with an injury in 2010, quickly becoming Manning’s go-to guy without breaking down. Reunited with Manning, Tamme would explode in 2012 and his fantasy dominance would last for the next 2-3 years, until Peyton finally decided to call it quits. Expect Decker and Tamme to be options 1a and 1b in Peyton’s more powerful offense, racking up fantasy points at a heavily discounted price for the fantasy owner. The familiarity they share with each other will only strengthen Tamme’s case as the rest of the Broncos adapt to the Manning Machine. You wouldn’t be crazy to expect a 1000+ 6-8 season from Tamme this year, and you can still get him in a draft or trade for about 250 yards and 2 TDs. He’s the perfect TE for those who aren’t looking to spend the money to get Jimmy Graham or Rob Gronkowski early. He will also be a ton cheaper than Fred Davis or Jason Witten, who put up comparable numbers in 2012. Indeed, the dynasty of providing goods is like a child and will be tied to Peyton for the rest of his life. career
