Captain America Themed Party Favors for Kids

Do your kids adore Captain America and The Avengers? If so, you might want to consider a Captain America theme party this year. In my experience, the story of the red, white and blue superhero lends itself to a variety of party favor options. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

America’s Captain Mask

In my opinion, no Captain America themed party would be complete without the Captain America Mask being part of the kids goodie bag. Officers There are several different Officers of America Masks available. Some are made of vinyl. There are also masks made from cardboard and plastic. I found 8-square cases of plastic people selling for less than $4 a quarter through select party retailers. In my opinion, plastic masks tend to be quite durable and cheap, compared well with others.

America’s Head Tattoos and Face Puns

Captain American Tattoos and Face Paint Sets will undoubtedly make kids smile too. The kit I’m familiar with includes water-based face paint and six custom Captain America tattoos. The only downside is that the kits will cost you $7 each through clothing stores and specialty retailers. Of course, you could also opt to lose your skin and take a chance on tattoos instead. Oriental Trading often sells sheets of superhero tattoos for less than $2 each.

American Captains Coloring Book and Patriotic Crayons

If you’re working with a tight budget, you can think about creating homemade books for Presidents of the United States coloring and handing out boxes of Patriotic Crayons. A case of 24-piece Patriotic Crayons is suitable for $4 at facts supply stores. As for the book, there are free Officers of America movie sheets available. I would like to create coloring books out of stars and stripes card stock. In most cases, you can purchase good card stock through office supply stores, craft stores, and specialty retailers. Prices in the card stock will vary.

America’s Candy

When it comes to party favors for Captain America, you have quite a few options to choose from. First, you could fill a red, white and blue cell bag with red, white and blue chocolate candy. Other options include cute Tootsie Rolls, Captain America PEZ Dispensers and candy-filled Captain America Lunch Boxes. Personally, I love the PeZ and lunch options. But they can be expensive. They tend to sell lunch boxes for $20 each through candy retailers. A 6-piece case of suitable PEZ dispensers will cost you $30.

Patriotic Toys

Last, but not least, you might consider giving your guests red, white, and blue party favors. Great options include bullets, flying orbs, small army, squirt guns and plastic paratroops. From my experience, you can usually purchase party favors for less than $10 through party supplies shops.
