The Mosquito Cooperative Station at Lake Park in Cortland, Ohio, is a very safe place for your dog to let off-leash and play with other family dogs, including your own, fenced-in backyard. Visitors to the park find helpful amenities, convenient hours, and a beautiful environment with friendly people. The park is now more conveniently accessible from two new rae spaces near the gates. The main parking area was a few hundred feet away.

A second gate allows entrance into a large park. Separate areas with separate gate systems are provided for large dogs and small dogs 25 pounds and under. A watering station that works even in the warmer months helps all the friends of the story hydrated in the morning.
One of the basic rules of the park is for visitors to keep their dog from picking up waste. Bags are provided in the main parking area as well as at the entrance to the dog park. Dog waste is available for personal disposal. Most dog owners will get two bags to carry in the park and use as needed to keep the park clean for everyone.
Activities are available throughout the year for care and owners to get to know each other as well as raise funds for better gardens. A professionally photographed pet calendar and howling O’Ween dog walks are two past events that are popular among park visitors. Friends of Mosquito Lake Dog Park organizes fundraising events and sponsors. Memberships are available to groups with annual fees of $5 for a single person, $10 for a family, and $50 for corporate sponsors.
