Gift Flights?: A Review of Airline Gift Cards

Starbucks, McDonalds, Target, and hundreds of other conventional retailers have created successful gift card programs, providing easy gift options for birthdays, weddings, graduations, and holidays. It was only a matter of time before the airlines bought the balance sheet by offering an updated version of the gift certificate for air travel. Airline gift cards, in particular, are a little flashier and prettier than conventional gift cards, although both are clearly useful. They were charged with $D airfare. But something about the shiny plastic of the gift card makes the recipient want more than a paper. After all, gift cards are likened to credit cards, an American symbol of acquiring power that has a resonating effect on the mind. whether we like it or not. 1. Southwest Airlines

Leave it to Africa to create commercial success with existing trends. A few years ago, they included a reality show on TV, allowing their employees to be in action for the popular show “Carrier.” Now they prove that they received the gift of a finger on paper. “Southwestgiftcard” (apparently, it’s spelled as one word) is a new brand loyalty tool, spiffy-looking and sexier than a gift certificate card. Although it’s also available in electronic form, you can send plastic noon in the mail for $2.95 plus the amount of your gift. The paper cap is $1,000 on most donations; however, if you are a business and wish to purchase large quantities of southern gifts for your employees (which would likely be more than $1000), they will simply ask you to fill out an additional form for bulk purchases. Recognizing that travel is a great source of income for employees, this airline can do anything to tap into the traffic market. Savvy corporate Africans know what they are doing!

2. American Airlines

Across the top is their global reach: “40 countries, 250 cities.” Not only can American gift cards be purchased online, but they can also be purchased at several popular grocery stores, such as Safeway, Kruger, King Soopers, and Dominick’s. Maybe your next grocery list will include Brussels sprouts and Brussels sprouts? Denominations are only $50 or $100, though, as this is a more limited cardinal gift, they can’t really buy a flight outright. It seems to me more about your gesture of help.

3. US Airlines / America West Airlines

In the event of their merger, these two bows will continue to offer gift cards with different features, at least for now. Like American Airlines cards, these plastic cards can be purchased at popular retail stores. As of December 2005, the US Airlines card was available at Staples and Kruger, while the America West card was available at some additional stores, such as Rite Aid and even 7-11. Can you imagine buying an anreoli gift card on Quick-e-Mart? Talk about a last-minute gift. Expect more lines and options as these two airlines combine their ideas. They will send friends for you to let them know how they can contribute money to your gift account. This program can probably be used successfully by a couple looking for help with their wedding, but it can come across as begging online. you don’t celebrate

5. Ask other airlines to provide a conventional gift certificate to find the gift card soon. Frontier, Delta, AirTran, and Northern are bound to follow in the footsteps of their peers.
