Danelectro BLT Slap Echo – Product Review

The problem with being a musician and trying to get decent equipment is as simple as that. For ninety percent of players, it’s money. Guitar equipment is absurdly expensive. When you’re shopping for an amplifier, guitars, guitars, strings, guitars and more, it’s not going any cheaper. If you buy a head that is a pipe, you are probably spending $1k right away. The same enclosure must run in a matching or comparable matching box. Depending on what guitar you like, you can look at anything from $1k – $5k. If you’re like me, you’re in line for the dead end of the year working to be able to get cash squirreled away that he may have the most beautiful equipment. He was actually finding my love for me. Easily spend more money on effects pedals than any guitar and amps. I love collecting gear. But that is not ugly. Fortunately, there are options for pedals for budgeted musicians.

Danelectro makes some of the finest machines for a fraction of the price that their competitors are asking. When you’re looking for these things, avoid pedaling gadgets and gimmicks. These are the “bare bones” effects of saying they do the job they are asked to do. Nothing more.

The Danelectro BLT Slap Echo is a thin pedal. The Echo has a solid effect and is probably one of the easiest pedals to use. Its simplistic design offers only two nodes. There is a switch for Mix control and Repeat adjustment. Mix it like a ball. This is going to determine how powerful your signal will be while pedaling in comparison to when it’s off. Repeats will increase the number of repeats by changing forward. Again you can scale by dialing the clock.

This is a basic pedal. Simplicity is golden. If you need resonating and don’t want to spend $150, this is your guy. Find this pedal new for just $40!
