Detroit, Michigan has some excellent joint bars. Despite its dangerous and desolate reputation in the city, Detroit also has great strip joints in the city center as well as in the outer suburbs.
These are my four favorite bars in the Detroit area.
Penthouse Club
20771 West 8 Mile Road
Detroit, Michigan
As part of a nationally recognized brand name and image, Penthouse Club brings you to the hip and busy city of Detroit. a bit, or maybe a lot, of glitz and glamor of the big time. The setting is breathtaking at the Penthouse Club in Detroit, and you also see spoilers in front of you. Cheesy perhaps? Maybe for some, but this is a big time and popular strip joint with the Penthouse brand and a blessing and it’s a big, big and close to Vegas type setting.
One of the advantages that Club strip benefits is that the strippers can move around from the club and the club; They also have the balance to attract the best in dining, food and drink. The Penthouse Club in Detroit is no exception.
With a long wine, liquor and champagne list, with no shortage of variety in non-alcoholic energy drinks, Penthouse Club is the best It is the choice of a client to entertain or even for a couple looking for a fantasy themed night.
On that front, the food menu at the Penthouse Club is like no other when it comes to post on articles in Detroit or anywhere for that matter. With a range of fine steaks and seafood, there’s something for everyone (shrimp and crab alfredo) and some excellent appetizers.
The bottom line with any article is that the strippers are fine. And as mentioned above, the Penthouse Club in Detroit can attract and rotate the hottest things in the business. They are real pros and will give you a big time. As with most all Penthouse Clubs, there are spacious ballroom tables, VIP and champagne rooms for your enjoyment. Depending on your budget, you can have the ultimate drag joint experience at this prominent Detroit strip joint.
Trumps
21413 West 8 Mile Road
Detroit, Michigan
I’m wary of this line of articulation, which seems to point to the added “p” in the name, which it might miss in other ways. Well, my doubts were put to rest as soon as I entered this strip joint. It’s a fun place, with attention to detail, very hot strippers and a lot of well thought out events and promotions. Trumpps has amateur fights, naked boxing, tequila specials on Thursdays and Beach Party on Fridays.
I actually found it ridiculous. I mean, really funny and a little rude at the same time; It’s a rare combination to pull off when you first ‘meet’ someone, but I don’t know how to do it.
Real Detroit Magazine readers voted the Trumps the best Detroit strip joint for two years straight and while I’m always a bit leery of how objective those types of contests are, I certainly see the point. He is the most who is the most.
Chix in Dix
403 South Dix Avenue
Dear Michigan
I’m certainly not the first person to have looked twice at the name of the Detroit area strip joint and made sure I understood exactly what it said. It’s a nice play on words, its location (on Dix Street) and on the other hand (?) the double fascinator that it suggests.
The back joint itself has been replaced but is well done. The menu is not quite a fine steak, but the food is good. Sometimes the strippers look more like the girl next door than a professional stripper (and I mean that in a good way).
This is a strip joint in suburban Detroit, with cover charges and unique events like “Chixy Shower Show on Wednesdays. This is a great customer service place, and very couple friendly.
Flight Club
29709 Michigan Ave
Inkster, Michigan
The flight club is actually about 20 minutes outside of downtown Detroit, close to the airport, and clearly caters to out-of-town businessmen and locals alike. As you might guess from the name, the airplane themed articulating strip is an airplane (the first articulating strip I’ve ever been into with an aviation motif).
The place is fun and a little modest, with a very good layout, perfect for a public dance table as well as a private VIP and champagne room. The pleasure layer. The flight Club offers great wine, beer and cigars and very solid food.
It’s well worth the trip from downtown and certainly if you’re traveling in or out of the Detroit airport.
