Disboards.com: Great in Small Doses!!!

Disboards.com is a discussion forum dedicated to all things Disney. Disboards.com is a great tool to learn more about how to plan for the perfect Disney vacation. Members share tips on finding the perfect parade viewing spot, the best time of year to visit Disney, the best restaurants to eat at, etc. Basically everything you ever need to know about Disney is covered somewhere on Disboards.com. The threads discuss travel strategies, Disney dining plan, and, my personal favorite, travel announcements. Forum Report Trinus is a great section where members talk about past Disney vacations.

You can join the Disboards.com forum without becoming a member. But it is made up of members of the family. All you need is an email address and the ability to learn a new language. Disboards.com members have created a new language full of abbreviations. I tend to ignore abbreviations, but just in case you’re mistaken, DH doesn’t stand for deceased husband, it stands for beloved husband. Oh and if you never just read the posts and threads, then they are usually related to a thief. It tends to be hidden only because water can be brutal. As in any discussion forum, everyone has an opinion. And if you feel differently from the common people, then be ready to be attacked, but in a nice way. The forum has rules about posting attacks and they have moderators who try to control unsolicited posters. But that is not always the case. Long members are more subtle attacks. That’s why disboards.com is great in small doses.

Each poster will appear under their avatar, so you can see how many posts they’ve made and how long they’ve been a member. I find it worrying that some posters have over 20,000 columns under their belt. SAHM’s are especially busy for me. Just in case you didn’t know SAHM stands for Stay-at-Home-Mom. He probably gets fired up at that word, because that’s how he puts the work down. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, as long as everyone’s opinion is the same.

If you can get past the repetitive comments, this is a really great informative site. And if you don’t have a thick skin, skip the company menu and go straight to the travel menu. All travel posters have reported that the Disney Magic is still high from their recent vacations so they tend to be very nice. I learned a lot from the website. I know January is a great time to go because of the low crowds and nice weather. I know that on Saturday Magic-kingdom”>to avoid Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom will be hot anyway, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios is redundant. I don’t necessarily agree with the last sentence. I like reading people’s opinions, but I also prefer my own form. I will visit the students twice during my trip next week. I’m also going to the Magic Kingdom on Saturday and some guest are running away from the linden greens (it takes things down).
