DIY Yard Decor: Garden Accents

Every garden needs a few accents. Weather is one bird, or a small statue, and other, always fun things to add to your garden. Although it is a little cold in some parts of the country right now, I thought this would be the perfect time to write this article, because you will have plenty of time to start online these projects! This article will give you ideas, as well as instructions, to complete the projects I mentioned.

One of the easiest things you can add to your garden is a bird bath. It will not only decorate your garden, but it will also bring wonderful visitors to your garden. The easiest and cheapest bird bath you can make is from terra cotta-pots. These pots are cheap and can be found almost anywhere. You will need three large cups and a large dish for this project. The first urn you want to choose needs to be honest. This bottom pot will be on the base of the bird. It will be necessary to invert the pot so that the pots are raised upside down. Then pick up another pot, which is the second size smaller than the first, bend it upwards, and place it on top of the first pot. Choose one larger pot, the next size down, flip it, and place it on top of the other pot. These three pots will complete the base. All the pots should be well stacked on top of each other, and warm as well. For the bathroom, you want to choose a decent size terra cotta bowl. Make sure it looks proportionate on top of the base you just put together. This part needs to be glued, so you’ll want to use weather proof, or weather proof, (or at least water proof) glue. For an added touch, you can paint, or stencil, and draw pictures on your bird bath. Make sure to choose NON TOXIC paint so you don’t harm any animals. You can put other materials together and try to make a sparrow out of them. For example, I found two great items in a thrift store. I filled both containers half way with rocks to give it a little more strength. Then I used hot glue to stick them together. For in the bath I found a large glass bowl, and I moved my hot glue just enough to put the top of the bowl on it. When you’re looking for things to use in the bathroom, you’ll want to choose something light. If you can’t find something light, or you’ve found something a little deeper, but it really works, you can add bowls, like rocks, and maybe a small plastic ornament, like a frog or a turtle. This will give the birds something to sit on.

Another great way to add some comfort to your yard is with small decorative bird houses. These can be found in craft stores, as written by Michael. Different birds make different wooden decorations, so you can choose one or more. You can use acrylic to paint these and add ornaments, ornaments, marbles or wooden cutouts. Paint decorated houses and add decorations. Then you want to paint a coat of glossy polyurethane over the houses, including the right decorations. This will make them last a little longer and protect them better from the elements. Then, finally, fasten them to the garden fence, or on a platter for everyone to enjoy.

Add another fun and functional decorative element to your yard and garden by adding bird spheres. Although these ornaments will need to be replaced at some point, they are simple and cheap enough to do. You will need the following materials: 2 rectangular or sided dishes, two smaller piping bags, (any fluffy mixture will do), a butter knife, 6 and 8 inch plastic foam balls. peanut-butter, wax paper, and 2 jars (one about 10 inches high; the other one 8 inches high). First, fill the griddle with enough seed to cover the bottom. Use a knife to spread the natural-peanut-butter butter into the spheres until they are completely covered. Unroll the covered spheres, one at a time, into the pan filled with seed, using your hands to press the seed firmly into place. Continue rolling and smoothing until the surface is completely covered. Place the completed spheres in another pan, lined with wax paper. Refrigerate for eight hours, or until set. Shape the spheres in the cupboard and place them in your urns. Put it outside for a beautiful display, and a great treat for your feathered friends.

Like wall art is another way to bring interest to your garden and garden. It can also customize your living room style. You will need the following materials to complete your art work: plywood, primer, paint, photo on image transfer paper, made to size (which will need to be done for the model shop), and acrylic gloss medium. The first thing you need to do is choose which photos you want to make into art: your favorite pet, or maybe your favorite flower photo will work great. After you choose the photos, you need to take them to the model shop and check photos transfer them onto the photo paper, then transfer them to the size you want you want to blow Next, you will need to cut the plywood to size, first paint it. Remember, whatever color you want to paint, show through the image. When your wood is ready, you need to coat the face of your image with your acrylic medium gloss. Dry, and then repeat. You should also coat the surface of the wood with an acrylic medium and let it dry as well. Then place the image face down on the wood, using more acrylic medium. Dry for less than two hours. To expose your image, wash the transfer paper with water and a cotton cloth. Once a year you will want to recoat your middle coat with another coat of acrylic gloss. Then just hang your masterpieces on the garden fence, or outside the bare wall for all to admire.

This last design can be used either inside or outside. He would see a large Ion from the patio table, or even crawling among some flowers, if you had access to the outside, otherwise you would enter the house. The materials needed for this purpose are: a submersible fountain pump with two feet of tubing, a square galvanized barrel, several small terra cotta jugs (the size that will fit in the bottom of the galvanized bucket, and also how many will fit there without the length of the bucket too), the mixture large and small decorative rocks, galvanized bucket, drill with metal drill bit, a bundle, and a small ball looking. First you need to place the pump with the tubing in the barrel. Yes, fill up the clay pots. Place a layer of rocks in the pots. Make sure the tubing is placed where you want the bucket to be galvanized, and then run the cable out of the barrel. Drill a hole near the bottom edge of the bucket, and file to make sure there are no points. You also want to make a hole big enough to run your tubing out of it. Now run your tubing from the pump through the hole, making sure it extends above the top of the bucket. Keep the tubing in place while you fill the rest of the barrel and bucket with rocks. Set the ball in the bucket and run the tubing behind it. Now all you have to do is add water and plug it in.

All these add your patio and garden projects. They will bring some extra color to any yard!
