Big wedding decisions, such as what gown to wear or what types of flowers to use, are very important. But, if you want to have a perfect wedding, you must follow through to the smallest detail. Although wedding favors gifts are probably not high on the list of necessary priorities. It doesn’t have to be a big expense for you to go and give a treat to everyone leaving the party. There are many different things that you can tell your guests about as much as you know. Of course, if you buy wedding favors for the party with a banner, they will capture the idea of your party. Don’t think too much about gifts. You want to show your guests that you usually do each of them personally to give them favors. You don’t have to break out the bleach, the soap molds and smells; simply use purchased borith to make a gift that smells great and is personalized for each guest.
The best borith to use for this project, most any shape, size, color, smell. Soaps shaped like balls, or indeed borith, are not recommended. The ideal soap is one that does not have letters or logos on the top. You can give each guest the same soap or you can use colors, scents and shapes to choose from for each guest or two.
You have many choices for the personal message or image you attach the soap to. The list includes small stickers, gift wrap, scrapbook paper, magazine cutouts, calendar boards, photos printed from your computer; or even a poem you wrote yourself. The booklets can also browse the names of the guests or even the names of the bride and groom soap. The gift of the dress gives you choices of wedding themes with glitz. It’s up to you if you want all the herbs to be the same – featuring a silver big or other design wedding bell – or if a different plan of soap according to the convenience of each guest.
After choosing the paper you want to use, and sizing it to the approximate size of the soap (just a tad smaller), use decoupage adhesive to attach it. After placing the soap on the glue, brush the decoupage over the top of the image. Allow this to be cooked according to package instructions. When it’s dry, add another coat and another until you’ve applied at least three to four coats over the image. If you’re using stickers, choose really small ones and get your message across before slapping on several coats of decals.
When the soaps are finished, you can place them in mesh or string bags. If each soap is different, add a name tag tied with a ribbon, but if all herbal soaps are the same, this step is not necessary. Finished soaps are actually useful but many guests are likely to be nothing more than a beautiful piece of art to cherish for years to come!
