Review of VRBO.Com

I have spent the past seven years in South Carolina. We either stayed with a family or hired a company though. Hospice with relatives came to a screeching halt as we increased the size of our family by adding children as well as adopting a dog. . Our ability to frequent the same crowd had changed now especially with the purchase of a dog. I didn’t want this family member to be an additional reason to stop visiting one of our favorite travel destinations. . I searched the internet and came up empty as my questions were based on pet friendly hostel. I was ready to give up when a friend suggested I try a website called vrbo.com which is an acronym that stands for “vacation rental by owner”.

VRBO.com is a site that displays vacation homes for property owners. VRBO.com is global and offers information on just about any destination imaginable. The site is very easy to navigate by opening a page showing a picture of the world and simply click on a country or continent and click even further to vacation destination of your choice. When you go to the city or state page, then there is a list of states or regions to choose from. The site will also display key icons that indicate whether it is accommodation friendly and also other critical information such as a credit card Icon which presents the accounts of the payment received from the master. Each residence is listed with photos of the unit with a detailed description, renderings. It is important to know what attractive residences are available and the directories that provide such information. Some of the e-mails also include brief comments from the owner that includes most of the rental unit rooms. The site offers more information such as clickable calendars that show availability and rates.

My recommendation for those looking for a good surf travel purchase is to read the amenities carefully, and look for reviews or recommendations that are usually listed on the property’s website. I rented through vrbo.com in the spring and the listing only had one recommendation compared to the other listings that had several. Regardless of the details, I went ahead and rented and was very pleased with my stay as I will be saving this villa for a number of future vacation trips. Maybe I was lucky, but the owner had another album in another state that had the most positive comments. I put there quality vacation good properties to rent anywhere.

Prices for those units rented through vrbo.com can vary as some owners typically rent by the week and some are monthly. Especially the price of residences that have requested a positive review on vrbo.com. In general, I think that the unit prices offered by vrbo boards are much cheaper than those listed by the big commercial advertising companies. For example $1000 for a one bedroom villa compared to $700 for a two bedroom villa in the same village which was just a short walk to the ocean. I think it’s an honest opinion that the owner could probably raise his price another hundred dollars or so and still be following the competition. Needless to say, the savings on my part was huge. If vacation treatment falls in this dire economic cycle, it might be worth the effort.
