Fallout Summerslam is taking place in Canada and here, and the bragging rights and title grabs in the event include John Cena, Randy Orton, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, & other WWE superstars compete at Breaking Point.
Match 1: Unified WWE Tag Team Championships – Chris Jericho & Big Show (c) vs. MVP & Marcus Henry
Not surprisingly, these four men were opening the show as the Unified WWE Tag Team Championships in a match that became Mayweather. This was almost a sign of your team’s match with Jericho & The Big Show getting the win. Although it would be nice to see MVP& Henry with gold, Jericho & Big Show are just too damn good.
Winners: Chris Jericho & The Great Show
Rating: **1/4
Match 2: United States Championship – Kofi Kingston (c) The Miz vs.
The next tag team match was the United States Championship match between Kofi Kingston and The Miz. Like the previous matches, this was very standard and you shouldn’t expect anything on PPV normally. Kyngeston wins once again and retains his title after hitting Trouble in Paradise.
Winner: Kofi Kingston
Rating: **1/2
Match 3, Submissions Numbers Anyway – D-Generation X vs. The legate
After having a great tag match at Summerslam, these two teams clash again, but this time it’s a Countdown Submissions match. There were some great spots in this match, like Michaels falling down with a blunderbuss and Triple H being thrown through a table, but the end finally came when Cody Rhodes & Ted Dibiase put Shawn Michaels in a double submission which he then hit. This is a big win for the Ambassador, as a win against DX is something to throw in, especially when it’s in a big match like this.
Winners: Legacy
Rating: ***3/4
Enter 4: Singapore Dog – The Great Khali w/ Ranjin Singh vs
Braking Point takes a turn for the worse as Kane and The Great Khali match again in another awesome match. This carbon model was basically their Summerslam match with added reeds.
Victor: Kane
Rating: 1/2*
Match 5: ECW Championship – Christian (c) vs
Going into this match, I was worried that like their Summerslam match, they would be given no time at all, but thankfully, they were given over 10 minutes. He brought the fight back and scored a fourth, and although he wasn’t given much time, it was done very well. This could easily have been a fraud show if it had been delivered at the right time.
Victor: Christian

Match 6: I Quit – WWE Championship – Randy Orton (c) John Cena. vs
With the WWE Championship up for grabs, Randy Orton and John Cena steal the show in a dramatic 1 Quit match. What really stands out in this matter is how much these two told the story of Orton, using Cena, and being such a violent man who destroyed Cena with canes, charms, and much more. After a last-ditch blow to the rib area, Cena hands over Orton’s cuffs and pulls Orton out. Cena finally locked in the STF as Orton tried to escape but couldn’t as he then said, “I’m out!”
Winner: John Cena
Rating: ****
Match 7: Submission – World Heavyweight Championship – CM Punk (c) vs
The main event match of the night was CM Punk and The Undertaker going at him for the World Heavyweight Championship. Unfortunately, the match went about 9 minutes long and not much was done to really impress me. Undertaker made CM Punk submit after locking in the Hell’s Gate submission move but Teddy Long then came out and said the Hell’s Gate submission was disallowed. The match then stopped as Punk locked in the Anaconda Vice and there, referee Scott Armstrong was called for the bell, even though the receiver did not shake. This Screwjob 2.0 or whatever in Hell you want to grab your attention, no matter how dumb some people think it is.
Winner: CM Punk

Breaking Point 2009 did not live up to my expectations as the main event turned out to be a huge letdown. Like Summerslam, Kane/Khali was a horrible match and business on this card didn’t have time to waste. The only two reasons to watch this show are the WWE championship match and the DX/Legacy match which I’m sure you’ll enjoy a lot.
