As I said in previous reviews, the Transformers movie comes out on July 4th and ahead of its release, many action figures of Transformers characters have been released. One of them is quarrels.
Abrams transforms the tank into a giant robot. A really souped-up Abrams Lake that is! When in vehicle mode, the Brawl has an additional turret on top of the normal turret of the Abrams Tank. In addition to this extra fire power, it has two rocket launchers mounted on the top as well. It also has two claws attached to the front of the tank when it is in vehicle mode. Because of this, his vehicle is in very good overall condition.
He is supposed to star in the Transformers movie, but as of this writing no clips from him have been released yet.
He was changed to look like he was made for one, and that is to lose. Of course, it is a fight with a Decepticon, so that it fits the character perfectly.
In robot mode he has a large tank cannon on one arm. He fired a plastic projectile from it. On the other arm is claws similar to Wolverine’s claws from X-Men. The rocket launchers, while in robot mode, are on the back of his shoulder.
It has very little use, but what is in use is well used. The boxes are usually made of green camouflage colored plastic. It is little black, silver and gold paint on it. His eyes are red that run through his head and if you put a light behind him, the red eyes will glow. It’s very creepy. I put him in front of my monitor and his eyes glow red from the light on the monitor.
Although his vehicle mode is very good, his robot mode is not really up to par. First of all, it’s the weight class of all the equipment it consists of. I take that as his overall plan for the Transformers movie, but this version of his toy was a bit of a disappointment. The execution of the plan was really bad. The arms also do not remain in their place, and because the arms hold back his back, neither does his back remain in place. There are reverse tabs that can be folded to position the arms, although the instructions don’t say so. In fact, they do not show the rules used in this capacity. So unless you see this about yourself, or maybe read this, you can really go wrong with this figure, since the arms don’t stand still. I was ready to go back to the fight before I found tabs on him because he just didn’t want to stay together.
Because of his design flaws, I would only recommend this figure if you’re into the Decepticon military. The only really good thing about it is the vehicle mode. I give it 3 out of 5.
