Toy Review: Fisher-Price’s My First Dollhouse

When my daughter visits her grandmother once or twice a year, she spends hours playing with her aunt’s doll house from the 250s. Because of the fascination of the doll’s house, her dad and I gave her a little house for her second birthday; the one we chose is Fisherman’s Price My First Dollhouse.

The reason I chose My First Dollhouse is because the dollhouse is designed especially for toddlers. Although it is a three-story house, the first width of My Dollhouse is just two- or three-year-olds to play with. My daughter sits on the floor and can easily reach the doll houses doll and put it on the third floor. his room

House doll comes mother, father and baby girl – just like our family now. In addition to three people and the dollhouse itself, My First Dollhouse also comes with a removable kitchen table + two chairs, a bathroom sink; kitchen sink, cupboard, stove; plus non-mobile computer and desk, bathroom sink, mirror, doorbell, clock, and wall telephone. The steps to the second story are a doll house, but to get to the third story the family members are just good jumpers! My daughter commented on the lack of a staircase to get to the baby room.

While there is a lack of furniture, especially the bed, in My First Dollhouse, there are three accessories available for purchase to go along with this $30 (or so) dollhouse. This past Christmas, Grandma put my daughter one of those additions to My First Dollhouse – the other with a baby crib, a rocking chair , a bouncy seat (which is often used as a high chair), and toys. Having these extra doll things in the house made it a little more crowded, but also more interesting, and I still want to finally finish my First Dollhouse for her.

Even outside of My First Dollhouse Kills, children in the have great imaginations pretending there is furniture; Although there is no bed or TV in the parents’ room, my daughter often puts the family inside that room to sit on the floor and watch TV.

There are two noise features with this doll house. With 2 AA batteries, my First Dollhouse phone and bell will ring. My daughter enjoys taking her “Little People” and ringing the bell to visit with my family First Dollhouse. The phone is a nice touch, except that it doesn’t detach from the wall, which is impossible to do unless the imagination is used.

At My Family’s First Dollhouse, all three of them can be bent over in the wasteland to sit up straight again to cook dinner or walk up the stairs to their rooms. Arms can also be moved. My daughter can move the doll house family members just fine, but sometimes it takes a little work to get both of them to sit in the dining room chairs. Dad’s arms, in particular, are difficult for him to move to the lowered position to sit. Of course, he is bigger than mom or baby, but because he is bigger, he naturally does not fit in the dollhouse chair and he just has to stay there (until he accidentally bumps and falls. again).

Since only two dining chairs come with my First Dollhouse, one of the family members was unable to properly sit down and eat dinner with the other two until we got the grandma set up outside. Until we had a “high seat” I encouraged my daughter to bring a view of the bathroom upstairs to use the dinner table on the third seat and that way it worked fine.

We like the look of the very familiar members of the doll’s house, but unfortunately some of the makeup keeps getting chipped or wearing out more and more. Fat in all the nostrils; then my first Dollhouse mom and baby have a pink spot on their nose, while dad has a green spot. Since the pink and green spots match the color of their shirts, I guess they are upper bodies. all were painted one color before the particulars of the face and hair. (At least it felt like it to me!) And there are other spots of the house dollar besides the nose.

I checked the Fisher-Price website, and there doesn’t seem to be a First Dollhouse Vehicle available to go with the set, unfortunately. My daughter uses the “little people” mini van she already owned for the family house of three dolls. members to ride in. Of course mom and dad have to sit sideways to sit in the mini van, but Sat is enough for my daughter to be content with the ride let it be.

This is my first Dollhouse so perfect for my daughter that I don’t regret sending it to her with the toy she owns. My daughter now does a doll house every day of the week instead of once or twice a year at Grandma’s.
