Moisturizer Review: Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer

Anyone who has combination skin knows it’s hard to find skin care products that effectively address both dryness and oiliness. It is a very difficult product to find a good god. The moisturizers either don’t provide enough moisture to my dry areas, or the parts of my face are too oily. As a result, I wet most of the time in autumn and winter, and only in the evenings of spring and summer. So when I received a sample of the Simple Replenishment Moisturiser, I decided to give it a try.

Claim Product

Simple Skincare website and product packaging have slightly different expressions of effectiveness. Here is the product page on their website:

Our Rich Fill Moisturize your skin all day replenished and nourished all day, is more than the perfect blend of pure and skin loving ingredients with added vitamins

Vitaminis for Vitamin B5. “all day” they claim on the packaging and the lagoon based claim moisturizer keeps the skin hydrated for 12 hours.

Simply try

My first attempt at wetting came at bedtime. With the label saying “rich god” I was expecting thick cream to come out of the bottle. The surprise and delight formula is lighter in texture. That is for the mouth and neck. Moisture quickly absorbs into the skin. The skin does not feel greasy but smooth and soft.

The next morning I used them after cleansing my face with simple facial cleansing wipes. I didn’t have any plans for it so typically I didn’t want to use it wet but because I was testing the product I was an exception. The same result with live absorption and soft soft. It lasted most of the day.

Does he live up to his claims?

I can tell my skin loves the ingredients. They are not harsh and keep my skin adequately moisturized. I can’t claim that it lasts for 12 hours and I can’t say. If it’s hot and I do housework, my skin becomes oily so it thickens in the afternoon. It usually lasts for about eight hours before I need to refresh my face due to oil production and shine. Based on how long I keep it on, I believe this product can moisturize for 12 hours.

If you have combination skin, especially if you have sensitive skin, I recommend Simple Fill Rich Moisturiser. It does not contain sunscreen so you will need to use one if you plan to leave the house. I find this concealer good to use both morning and night. If you want to try it, you can buy it at Amazon.com ($11.09), Walmart ($9.97) and drugstore.com ($10.99).
