Consumer Review 2011 VW Beetle

Long after its inception in 1934, the Volkswagen Beetle offered its customers value and practicality in a compact package. For 2011, the VW Bug has once again been packed with delights and is working hard to make this “People’s Car” your car for next year’s model.

The VW Beetle or “New Beetle” as it is called today, received a much needed face lift to its interior parts as well as the drive train in 1998. Already 13 years later, the Beetle is once again going under the knife to try to challenge. the new progeny is still outstanding with respect and quality of the very German work we have come to love.

For those in the market to buy a 2011 Beetle in early 2011 you may want to wait a little longer. The changes that happen in late 2011 really coincide with the old sayings that happen to those who are waiting. The next generation Beetle will try to take on a whole new look with a masculine driven persona. Pass out holding flowers in a cup and cues of feminine style. In their place, the New Bug has a lower profile roof line, a wider stance and a more chiseled look. While details are limited to the 2011/2012 model year, the car will have a choice of engines ranging from a 1.2L 4 cylinder that produces 105hp to a 2.5L 5 cylinder diesel that puts out comparable power.

If you are not of the patient type, there are many real deals for the 2011 model. Prior to the change over however, the current model can be purchased with a 5 cylinder 2.5L engine that puts out 150 horsepower. While one may prefer the 2.0L engine offered earlier, the 2.5L extends the power supply to the passenger and provides a spirited and enjoyable grunt. In addition, the vehicle offers two choices of transmissions, either a manual speed or a 5-speed automatic with Tiptronic transmission. While the preference is 100, they find themselves with manual-transmission feeling disjointed and somewhat unappealing. Typically the manual setup offers a more direct driving feel which can be fun, but it seemed like a bug. it is a better idea to make a mobile computer for automatic and tiptronic use. In terms of options, the customer still has the option of choosing either a coupe or cabriolet model, interior color to pack rack accessories ranging from The CD changer was destroyed.

Overall, the vehicle remains unchanged from recent years, but if you’ve never stepped foot inside the car, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the ergonomic feel of its seats and the overall amount of room within the cabin. Both the driver and passenger have an immense amount of leg room and the rear seat can fit two adults comfortably. Some things to note are the sides on the driver and passenger seats. For older adults, those sides were painful to push for a long time and sometimes seemed out of place. Also in the fuel efficiency car got an EPA rating of 20 and 28 on the highway. While high compared to many cars on the market, the numbers seem to be slightly low compared to other vehicles like the Corolla Toyota quo brought to the city 28 & 34 road with their famous 1.8L 4cy. Also, trunk space is proven to be a problem if you are traveling heavily or with others. Volkswagen rooms in a small we found the Volkswagen trunk considered desperately looking for a cube and we desperately hoped there would be more room.

In the total package, the 2011 Volkswagen Beetle is a solid buy for those looking for a compact car. If you use this vehicle for what it is and not as a first vehicle, many of the concerns presented here should not become an issue, and, as previously stated, many developers and provide performance in an effort to go to the next generation model. . At the end of the day it’s wise to wait and see what the deer brings to the table next; however, if that’s not the case, get what you want before it’s too late, they won’t be around much longer.
