M Osage is located in Denver, Colorado, a National Historic Landmark in Colorado, just a few minutes from downtown Denver. This restaurant has been proudly serving its patrons since 1893.
Dinner is served Monday through Thursday, 5:30 pm to 9 pm; Friday and Saturday 5 pm to 10 pm and Sunday 5 pm to 9 pm. Breakfast is served Monday through Friday, 11 am until 2 pm. Happy hour is Monday through Friday, 4 pm to 6 pm.
The room features a bar and a lounge area where live entertainment is held 4 nights a week. No cover charge or reservations are necessary to relax in the lounge, and you can order food from their regular menu. The beautiful upstairs bar is made of authentic 1857 white oak. Roz Brown is the host of Thursday’s hit Saturday-nights. He plays the auto-guitar and sings old cowboy songs and sings long melodies as everyone sings along in good fun. Bill Barwick, voted 2005’s “Male Vocalist of the Year” joins Roz Brown (when he’s not on the road touring). Dinner prices range from $22.00 (Gramma Fanny’s Pot Roast) to $49.00 for the famous Buckhorn 24 oz T-Bone Steak. New York Strip, Beef Tenderloin, Buffalo Tenderloin Steak, Buffalo Prime Rib, Pork Baby Back Rib also available on the menu . Not in vulputate? Try it with Elk, Cornish Game Hen, Lamb, Quail or Salmon. Soup or salad and aside dish come with every entree. Side options include garlic mashed potatoes, baked potato, saratoga sprouts, baked beans or wild rice.
Big Steak – Going to the joint? The Buckhorn restaurant is famous for its steak. You can order the party by your party size. Prices range from 2 guests up to 5 guests. The steaks are carved right at your table and come with a bowl of sauteed mushrooms and onions. There is a 17% service charge for parties of 8 or more.

The kids menu consists of cheeseburger (buffalo – $9.75, beef – $5.50) chicken breast sandwich, BBQ baby back ribs. , Elk, Buffalo Bratwurst sandwich or Steak sandwich. Lunch-menu consists of sandwiches, burgers and chicken, salads and soups. All cooked beans are used for Saratoga. You can also decide to have their “Dutch Breakfast”, which harkens back to the days of cattle and robberies, originating from the popular Pennsylvania Dutch. For $11.75 it includes the famous Buckhorn bean soup, bratwurst platter, baby back pork ribs, beef brisket, baked beans and cole slawcole a>.
Whether you choose to dine in the dining room or dine upstairs in the lounge area, Buckhorn Exchange offers tasting, dessert and coffee tables. Start your meal by trying the Rattlesnake for $15.75, be bold and have the fried Alligator tail for $10.75, sample the Sirloin Game Tips for $10.25, just to name a few. For all you history buffs, The Buckhorn restaurant is now in its second century of operation, having been founded back on November 17, 1893 by Henry H. Zietz, better known as “Shorty Scout” via state est! President Theodore Roosevelt dined at this restaurant in 1905. Henricus Zietz a President Roosevelt was asked to be the leader of the hunt! A total of five presidents dined at this great restaurant, just like Hollywood legend Carlton Heston, Bob Hope, and Jimmy Cagney to name a few. Many stories are available at the Buckhorn Exchange Restaurant. The walls of the Buckhorn Restaurant are 575 and confusing “stuffed” animals and in the collection of 125 guns. You pick everything for yourself, pick your own food.
