Book Review – Bullet by Laurell K Hamilton

Bullet is the second book in a long series by Laurell K Hamilton’s nightmare heroine, Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter. This is the book all loyal fans have been waiting for; including lots of sex, violence, vampires, werewolves, and other nocturnal paranormal animals. If anyone has not read one of Ms. Hamilton, I don’t suggest starting with this one though.

Anita Blake is a mere human with some extra ordinary powers. She was, or should I say, a summoner. He can literally raise the dead. In the world that Ms. Hamilton built, the Vampires have now come out and are trying to retain their rights in the very human world and are still confusing their own Vampire hierarchy of rules and regulations. Anita in the United States Postal Service as a Vampire Slayer and looks a lot like James Bond. license to kill – vampires She is also the friend of the Master Vampire of Saint Louis. It is even more confusing that the leopards were in the country with the reigning king, and other leopards were one of their “houses”.

To fully understand this series, I strongly suggest starting at the beginning of the series and working your way up to Bullet or the graphic sex and violence that is the Anita Blake Series, you may be completely unprepared. There are also many important points that need clarification and their stories are told in previous books. One in particular, Richard, who is the king of the werewolves and reigns from Anita’s love, is heavily introduced in Bulletto and is almost absent in his last few works.

Honestly, I mistakenly read one of her books, which are in the middle of this series, as a way of introduction to Ms. Hamilton’s work, and it moved me so much that it took me a while to read more. their ego I’m starting from the beginning to suggest that anyone else do it and work your way into his world of attraction, where our behaviors and norms just don’t work. In a world where the central figure is surrounded by creatures so much stronger than her, it is really fascinating to read how she changes herself in order to survive and to do evil that is as prevalent in them as it is in ours. the world Good and bad “people” are represented in both worlds.

I have to admit, though, that I enjoy the Vampire Hunter novels in which Anita Blake is actually out there acting as a vampire hunter and doing her job with marshal services better than those which are more sexual in nature. This is a bullet, but Ms. Hamilton never ceases to bring excitement to every page and always leaves his fans wanting more.
