The Samsung Syncmaster 740N 17 inch LCD monitor has many mixed reviews with some having issues. I wonder if the problems do not come from fluctuations in the electrical voltage at the place of use. While one review claims 300 Samsung 740N monitors have been in business for over a year without any defects, there are many who fail this monitor after a few months. There was one case of someone who stated that they bought 20 of these monitors and within 3 months they had 3 failures. Why would one person fail 3 out of 12 when another has a good job with 300 monitors and no failures? I have to ask about voltage> and low tolerance for fluctuating conditions.
The picture on the Samsung Syncmaster 740n is almost all reviews rave about what they consider to be its faults. The picture is sharp and clear and the color is bright. The software that comes with the Samsung 740N automatically adjusts the brightness based on your usage. One brightness on the surface of the Internet, another for movies. Many mention this as one of the good features, although one review said that the software does not work with older systems and you need to check if your video card supports this product.
The Samsung Syncmaster 740N does not come with a DVI connector and with improvements in the environment, newer LCD monitors are not as dependent on a DVI connector as monitors were older and now the analog output is almost as clear and responsive as the DVI connectors were designed to be.
Cons: Very few cons on this monitor, mostly around not being very sturdy or the lack of flexibility in positioning the monitor. Very few dead or stuck pixels.
All in all the monitor gets the highest ratings, having read over 250 reviews that are rated above overall. it starts at 4.75 out of 5, with many people using this monitor well for a year with no problems at all. A beautiful monitor soon. Nokia typically has the belief that it is the highest quality monitor on the market, I just had some issues with this monitor. After reading so many reviews, I’m sure there will be lemons.

If you want a Samsung, you’ll probably get this monitor, but I want to test the power lines in my area to ensure stable voltage. According to the Samsung Syncmaster 740N reviews I’ve read, it seems that some are only plagued by problems, while others have no problems at all.
