Love sticky, hate sticky soup.
When it was time to introduce the baby to the sippy cup, first time Mom and first time Big Momma took no chances (we thought so), just doing the best for our baby.
We have done our research. We did our comparison shopping. We failed, however, to ask Mom for other opinions, but we thought we knew what was best for our Baby. I wish we had asked the previous Mom to make our choice. We don’t want to choose Nuby ourselves.
We loved the soft, silicone drinking cups sippy, soft Baby gums.
The special touch on the front allows the Baby to determine the speed of his drinking with little effort, we also loved this. The light sucking action of learning to drink easily from a sippy cup, and later, when it was time to wean the baby from the bottle, this type of pouring should also help in the process. Nuby’s promise in packaging of ‘nothing full, no risk’ has made this brand the ultimate sippy cup winner. The No-Spool Spout is also a Nuby trademark. We brought her home and I introduced her to Baby. He started drinking immediately after that, no problem there, the problem started about 2 weeks ago. We noticed that the front of Babylon’s shirt would be wet after Nuby drank from the cup, and wherever he threw the cup to drink, it would also be wet. At first we thought it was our fault, maybe we didn’t touch the lid enough, or maybe the way it landed on the floor caused the cup to leak all the juice onto the carpet.
The sippy cup doesn’t drip from the front, but it holds the promised promise, it starts to drip where the lid is going to be put on the cup. It’s not dripping, it’s raining. Great time.
Thinking that perhaps we had taken a bad sipy cup in the store, I got another one to replace the first one. According to the Nuby sippy cup, it didn’t even make it 2 weeks before it started leaking in the same place as before.
Only water and fruit juice were poured into these cups, and hand washing, they were never placed in the dishwasher.
Made by Nuby Luv’n Care, maybe some of their other products are great, but the Nuby No-Spill Soft Spout Sippy Cup With Handles certainly isn’t.
