The ceiling fan in my bedroom was ten years old when it finally stopped running. I originally paid about $40 for it. I almost ran into a barrier when I was looking for a replacement. Today, ceiling fans usually run for $150-$300. I had no idea the prices had risen so much! $150 is not in my budget; I had to find something reasonable.
I tried Lowe’s and Home Depot. The only fans offered were less than $100 or were all white which did not fit my Victorian decor; or they were too small. Both fans can be mounted close together or included in a short downrod. If you have a concave camera, buy a longer bend and you can mount the lower one, but they can’t mount the flush. I really loved my old pond fan and hated to see it go, but now that I have this, I love it even more. It has five shoulders. My old fan had four. The Heritage ceiling fan is an old fashioned fan in a different way. It has motion control. I can turn it on or off, adjust the speed, or dim the light without getting out of bed. This robs me of a great deal of time. I look forward to replacing all my other fans.
