The Nexus 9 Pro is a silent PC case with all the features you need for quiet operation without compromising on those features you want in a case like a tool less installation of a drive and a PCI card.

Nexus is an expert company in dealing with heat and noise for computer-case and components based in the Netherlands but sells worldwide with with a large number of cases and cooling products. Nexus Silent has several designs of cases and coolers for both CPU’s and other components with an emphasis on quiet operation with heat reduction.

The Nexus 9 Pro is a case designed for quiet operation with several features that are usually seen in the middle of the tower, but it adds a lot to quiet operation. The Prominent 9 case is a mid-tower case for ATX and smaller motherboards with nine available front panel optical drive slots or hard drives platters .

The internal features two four slot hard drive shields sit behind the front panel and can be removed to make full use of all the front nine slots boards are installed in more rigid constructions. The two hard drives are fastened with thumb screws for easy installation and removal while the eight themselves are fixed with regular screws.

Six of the nine 5.25 bays for optical agents or shields are secured with a tool less hole. these plates are secured with three screws at the bottom. The case includes a set of screws for removable trays and other driving areas, but all trays and other safety points include a rubber tip.

hard drive removed, the power supply of the rear face and the bottom feet of the case included rubber and foam rubber bumpers for vibration absorption to the noise The two side panels have thin and medium-thickness foam to reduce noise inside, making things quieter for parties and general computer use.

The Prince 9 comes with two real silent fans in 12 and 14 cm sizes that you can move to the best position depending on your system and cooling needs. The system I installed has a common ATX sized motherboard with an Asus Sabertooth 990FX with dual GTX460 stereo-headphones or in-panel speakers that face the front of the case.

The front panel has metal grid holes with foam filter covers on each hole, but the covers are removed from the outside which is different from most other cases. Prominent 9 cases has many features, but it has a few flaws with one case of lack of fans with the case.

Prominent 9 only has two fans when I buy it, but it’s easy to add others who were bought from stores and sites like Nexus or Newegg.com. I got the Prominent 9 from a website called EndPCNoise.com and they sell cases and components that specialize in quiet computing.

One review I saw had the case as a bit too expensive but EndPCNoise.com has the case for a lower price of $64.95 with additional shipping of $24.02 for my area using UPS ground. Shipping cost for any reason is about the same as the price you can find a prominent 9 in some places it is more equal given features.

The Prominent 9 is a great case with pretty handy features that make it a worthwhile system case with less noise and a generally smaller design. I highly recommend the Elite 9 case as a quiet computer case for anyone who wants the features of a manufacturer’s system in a case that can be found at a reasonable price.
