I love tortillas and gravy, and since I move from the eastern part of Northeast Indiana, they left me a favorite recipe for country style gravy. Southeastern Mills Country Style Gravy was by far the easiest gravy to prepare for classic biscuits and gravy, and by far the tastiest I’ve ever found. I recently bought a can of Country Style Beef Gravy, and I was wondering if it would stand up to Southeastern. Mill Country Style Gravy, but it was worth the experiment. The following review will provide facts and information on Campbell’s Country Beef Gravy along with my opinion on the taste, quality and consistency of this Campbell’s product.
Ingredients and Nutrition Facts
Most people notice that any kind of fat-based sauce is high in calories, especially when it contains sausage, but Campbell’s Ice Cream is relatively low in fat. homemade varieties are prepared. A serving cup is only fat P.*5, and this is really low considering the contents. On the other hand, one serving of Campbell’s has a whopping 70 calories. This doesn’t sound like much, but it’s a small serving. 14 ounces holds 7 servings according to the label, in reality it does not serve 7 for a hungry person. In fact it would serve 4 people at its heaviest.
The first five ingredients in Campbell’s Beef Country Gravy are water, cooked sausage, pork seasoning, vegetable oil, and modified food starch. This Campbell’s product is also somewhat high in sodium. One cup serving contains 270 mg or 11% of the daily value. Considering that most people consume at least a cup, this is a lot of salt for one meal.
Nutritional value is quite low in a cup serving of Campbell’s Beef Gravy. No iron, no calcium, no vitamin A, no vitamin C, and only protein P. II. These weights are based on a 2000 calorie diet.
Awareness, Consistency, and Product Quality
The texture of this Campbell’s product is very light, but it was quite salty for my palate. I don’t usually eat salty foods and the salty taste is overwhelming in my opinion. He who likes a lot of salt does not notice it. In addition, I am not impressed with the sausage in this product. It was not the same type of sausage, I would add country gravy if I made it from scratch, and I usually use planning to buy Campbell’s this product in the future It was less than $2.00 a can, but I would have preferred to buy the Mills Southeastern Country Style mix if it had been available at my local store.
