On the night of December 26, 2007, my family and I went to see Disney’s Princess Classics on Ice. It was night at the Dunkin Donut Center (formally the Providence Civic Center) in Providence, Rhode Island.
The story of Princesses on Ice is based on the Disney Princess characters; Jasmine (Aladdin), Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Mulan, Belle (Beauty and the Beast ) Snow White and Cinderella.
The first part of the show focuses on highlighting all these features of the story. The show begins with the story of Aladdin, complete with Genie and a team of skaters. At the beginning of the story of Aladdin, one of the elephants comes out of the cartoon to carry Aladdin’s guide.
The story then turned into the story of Sleeping Beauty. The three raids decide on a habit with sleeping beauty in berry picking. The highlight of this story is the “witch” who comes out with full pomp and makes the sleeping beauty fall asleep. .
The scene quickly changes to The Little Mermaid location. The characters were amazing in typical Disney fashion. The florescent fish had habits with many different colors. A castle scene on the back decorated with flowers.
ice rink was quickly transformed into the story of Mulan, the Chinese princess, who is proposed as a man to fight in the army for her father. The characters entered the rink from the back and performed to the sound of traditional Chinese music.
The castle in the back of the skating rink was turned into the castle of Beauty and the Beast. Belle and the Beast fought with the prince who tried to kill the Beast in order to protect Belle; but then the Beast was transformed into a beautiful Prince.
The last part of the first set was the story Snow White. While the ice was dark, the arena was filled with the sound of Hi-Ho, all the crazy children knowing that the dwarves were coming out of the white snow. The story of Snow White is quickly skated while whistling while you work. “The story of Snow eating a poisoned apple is done from skating rink. Cinderella’s story ended with the ball and all the princesses joining the skating rink.
In typical Disney fashion, the characters were amazing. very talented skaters and filled with high quality figure skating. country music songs we all know, it is always nice to have children only to see fun and sing their favorite songs. It’s also nice to see so many little girls dressed as their favorite princesses. First time parent was a good time for girls or young people at heart.
