Review: Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crusts

When volunteering in the kitchen at a recent holiday event, one of my tasks was to bake apple pies. All the ingredients were donated to me by other members, all I had to do was collect and cook the cakes. The ingredients I needed mainly consisted of pie filling and cooling pillsbury pie crusts. It was the first time that I used this brand pie crust and found it to be excellent and easy to work with.

It was a nice pica to meet the time and very little time. When the second part was fully cooked, the pie was golden and brown and maintained a delicious texture. I was so impressed with the taste, convenience and high quality of Pillsbury Pie Crusts that I decided to write a product review for them. Presented here, in an effort to help consumers, is one food writer from the Pillsbury cooling pie crust review.

Size
The net weight of a container of Pillsbury Pie Crusts is 15 ounces. According to the package label, the container holds 16 servings. In terms of physical size, the container takes up the least amount of cupboard space.

Taste / Taste
When it comes to taste, Pillsbury Pie Crusts offers a very pleasant flavor that tastes very similar to the taste of homemade pie crust. In addition to tasting like homemade pie crusts, Pillsbury Pie Crusts are also not overly sweet and do not introduce any type of greasy aftertaste that is sometimes experienced with some other well-known pie crusts. I like the flavor of these cookies so much that I can’t wait to bake some cookies at home using them. Although I have just made apple-pie”>a> with these pies, I can tell by the taste that they will be great. I have used all kinds fullness of piety

Texture
Before the pie was even baked, I would say the texture of the pie would be nice. That’s because the chilled crust keeps it nice, soft and even in texture before it’s baked. The texture of the pie was sensational after the crust was baked. The crust is quite soft, but firm and not fluffy – lots of crumbs oft. The texture of Pillsbury’s
Pie Crust is a good marriage of fruit filling, providing a very satisfying pie.

Price
The regular retail price of a single 15-ounce package of Pillsbury Pie Crusts at a Hartford, Connecticut area supermarket is about $2.99. Considering the great taste, texture and overall quality of the crust, I think this is a reasonable price.
