Fall Wedding Venues in Southern Illinois

Southern Illinois wineries are known for hosting fall weddings. The surrounding vineyards and beaches are stunningly gorgeous! Most wineries have large indoor buildings for receptions, bands or DJs, restaurant/observation facilities and much more. Bella Terra Winery, near Creal Springs, and Walker Bluff near Carbondale, are also wonderful fall wedding spots. Some of the wineries offer amenities such as a children’s play area, playgrounds, lawn games, booths and more. I have been to many wineries in southern Illinois and have never been disappointed.

I played music at a planning a fall wedding at the Field of Dreams, located near Carbondale, and was very impressed with the facility. is a building with a kitchen, dining, and dance floor. Southern Illinois is famous for its crown natural jewel, the Shawnee National Forest. I think this is a wonderful place to hold a fall wedding, with all the beautiful beaches and great facilities.
